  1. I just dumped Clayton last week. Ferguson has found the end zone 3 times, and has more yards in less games. The Buc's running game is doing enough that when it comes time to pass, they are looking at Galloway. I'd jump on it.
  2. 12 team league. 1pt / 25 yds rec, 1pt / 2 receptions, 6 pt TD. I need to start 3 WR, choices being Williamson, McDonald, Harrison, McCardell, Jurevicius. Harrison is in for sure. McDonald will have issues vs. Colts, Jurevicius may not get action since it won't be a shootout vs HOU, ...so I am thinking that McCardell and Williamson are the choices...but what do you think?
  3. Hugh, you are the coolest for doing this! I need to start 3 WR. #1 is M Harrison. Other choices... Engram vs ATL Colbert vs NE E Parker vs SD M Clayton vs BUF I think Clayton is out vs a tough BUF D. Which 2 of the reamining 3 do you like?
  4. I'm a JJ owner in the same boat - he's gonna have a tough time with that O-line. I plan on doing what Royal flush says - wait for the week he tears it up, and sell high.
  5. Thanks for all the advice fellas. I woke up and smelled the coffee, and will not do this trade. In fact, both Priest and LJ will get the start this week. Just for clarification, I was looking at this for the long term value of the trade. I am assuming that Priest will get injured this year (hence the LJ draft pick at 5.05). When that happens, I'll still have a stud RB - who will get 100% of the the carries - and will get an upgrade at WR (Smith for Colbert). By no stretch of the imagination was I thinking that Barlow would be a fair trade for Priest.
  6. I'll jump on the wagon, and agree with everyone else. Bryant and Edwards will get the most looks, Jackson will fight for looks with Northcutt. He may get some action as a return man with Cribbs getting hurt - Droughns is gonna be the starter at RB, and won't be doing any more returns.
  7. As a Holmes/Johnson owner, I would say...go with Farve until Holmes goes down.
  8. Yeah, looking at my roster, I need all the help I can get. Thanks for the advice!
  9. just like everyone else says...get him while you can!
  10. Is it possible to start both Priest and LJ? I'm not sure I'd want to do it every week...although with my RBs, I'd take LJ's numbers from week 1 for a #2 or #3 RB any day....
  11. I am in a performance league, and have both Priest and Johnson. THe rest of my roster is... QB - Brady RB - Holmes, L Johnson, J Arrington, Bettis, F Gore WR - M Harrison, Michael Clayton, K Colbert, E Parker, B Engram I have been approached with the following trade: Priest and K Colbert for Steve Smith and Kevan Barlow. My first reaction is that I am getting the better end of the deal. I don't have to worry about the Holmes/Johnson split thing, and can start Johnson each week, and will have the starter in KC WHEN Priest gets hurt. I get an upgrade at WR, and have another starting RB (ok, so I know it's Barlow). Is it too early to pull the trigger on this?????? It's only week one. KC
  12. Don't have to start a TE, but either Witten or Pollard are my best choices for #3 WR this week behind TO and SMoss. Last week both did not catch passes. Witten benefits from having Vinnie back; Dallas Clark is out this week. I am out of the playoffs, but have the chance to play spoiler this week. Scoring is 1/25 yds, 6/td, 1/2 rec.
