  1. So sayeth Santonio, "Bringeth me into your lineup, and ye shall see victory". Yea, for he shall show us the way.
  2. Do not believe the naysayers and doom bringers! The kingdom of Holmes is at hand! Rejoice with him in your lineup for he is not meant to ride pine!
  3. This will be the week of Santonio Holmes. Trust in him. He will take your team to the promised land of win in week 4. Join us in placing him in your lineup and reap the rewards of your faith.
  4. This will be the week of Santonio Holmes. Trust in him. He will take your team to the promised land of win in week 4. Join us in placing him in your lineup and reap the rewards of your faith. He will go nuts on MNF and begin his reign in Pittsburgh as a top receiver.
  5. That just about summed up my thoughts as a Flacons fan and Giants D owner
  6. Yep, roll with the Pack, all the way. They are at Lambeau and will be trying their best to go 5-0. Brett will sling that ball like a mad monkey with poo.
  7. I can play either one as my RB. Who would you choose? I have Chad Johnson on a bye week so I need to make up some serious points.
  8. Pack is at Lambeau too. The possibility of 5-0 being done at home is thrilling isn't it? I figure Nick Barnett may want to be on the highlight reel
  9. Alrighty - I got tired of the Chargers screwing me on just about every front they can this year, so I think I am going to drop their D and roll with the "rotating" matchup plan, as I seem to do every year. So for Week 5, assuming dropping the Chargers D is my best move - who would you prefer: Cardinals D vs. Rams Packers D vs. Bears (at home!) Giants D vs, Jets (hot hand maybe?) Or keep the Chargers D and stop whining? What say the Huddled masses?
  10. That was pretty much my thinking as well. Without knowing what the other options are going to shake out as, the WR makes better sense from a standpoint of stability, or at least in a "less is more" context. Maybe as the weeks progress, one of the other RB's may prove to develop into a better choice, but I am leaning heavily to the 3 WR format.
  11. Both have risks, but I think the possibility of running crazy on KC is very high. Green may very well be the better play this week. I have Brown (trying to trade him though) and I am stuck as well.
  12. In a weird spot here. I have my first RB. I need to decide on a second RB or using a 1 RB/3 WR layout. the league is a new change to a PPR league, but only for WR/TE spots. If I go with RB #2, I can use Ronnie Brown, Marion Barber, Julius Jones, or even Deangelo Williams (I always think he will be THE MAN in Carolina for some reason, no idea why ) If I go with a 3rd WR, I would use Andre Johnson, as the league changed to the new format that would have a WR benefit. I can see lots of possibilities here but I am not sold on any of them, as any of my RB choices appear to be mixed backfields, and AJ is a WR, which is always a risk compared to a RB, in most cases. Any ideas?
  13. I offered this up as I was just not sold on Miami's backfield and I REALLY want Brady this year as I believe he will be the big QB stats wise. Was I nuts to offer it or does it come out pretty fair? I realize AP is a bit of an untested commodity and I do think he may be an injury risk the way he plays, but I felt it was a chance I could take as he has a great running schedule. Don't really have to justify Brady
  14. Try Jarrett (yes, that Jarrett from Carolina) in the third round. "It was a hunch" was his reasoning. Guy picking after him thanked him for his donation this year and took a real player.
  15. I have been trying to perfect our teams last place trophy as well. Mine is a colectible showcase box with a doghouse in it that is supposed to be the Michael Vick "boy you really screwed the pooch" doghouse. Has a little piece of a jersey and a figurine of Vick in it. Hmm. For yours, how big can the phrase be? Or rather, how much space do you have to work with?
