  1. If it is a money league, then most of the league would be calling for blood. You would really take some heat for the trade. If it is for fun... who cares, do it. Keep in mind that you might not be able to find friends willing to join your league next year. However, I am the commissioner in a league of friends and I would not trade my personal integrity to move up a notch in a fantasy football league.
  2. I was just proposed a trade of VJax and Alfred Morris for Hakeen Nicks, Phillip Rivers & Darren McFadden. He has Gronk, so I was trying to think of a counter that makes sense if I give him Morris. My team: QB Matt Ryan (bye, no backup on roster) RB Marshawn Lynch RB Alfred Morris WR Julio Jones (probably going on IR now) WR Danny Amendola (have Edelmann as his handcuff) WR Anquan Boldin TE Martellus Bennett Backups: Sproles RB, McGahee RB, Greg Jennings WR His team: QB RG3 QB Rivers QB Vick RB Arian Foster RB Chris Johnson RB MoJo RB McFadden WR Demaryius Thomas WR Hakeem Nicks WR Larry Fitzgerald TE Gronk TE Gates The rest of team is not worth noting
  3. Hey Huddlers, I need some advice with a trade. I am in a 10 team non-PPR league and have been proposed this trade. Steven Jackson & Stevie Johnson for Alfred Morris & Greg Jennings Do you think I am getting the right value since Steven Jackson is out 2-4 weeks. I could try and live with Sproles until Jackson comes back. I have a deep receiver squad, but I need some depth at RB. Steven Jackson will be out 2-4 weeks, so this trade seems appealing to me. It doesn't solve my RB depth problem, but it does give me a starting RB1. my WR & RB team: WR Julio Jones (Atl - WR) WR Vincent Jackson (TB - WR) WR Julian Edelman (NE - WR WR Anquan Boldin (SF - WR) WR Danny Amendola (NE - WR) WR Stevie Johnson (Buf - WR) RB Marshawn Lynch (Sea - RB) RB Darren Sproles (NO - RB) RB Steven Jackson (Atl - RB) RB Willis McGahee (Den - RB) His WR & RB team: WR Andre Johnson (Hou - WR) WR Torrey Smith (Bal - WR) WR DeSean Jackson (Phi - WR) WR Greg Jennings (Min - WR) WR Sidney Rice (Sea - WR) RB Alfred Morris (Was - RB) RB Stevan Ridley (NE - RB) RB Rashard Mendenhall (Ari - RB) RB Ben Tate (Hou - RB) RB Bryce Brown (Phi - RB) General and/or trade counter advice is greatly appreciated.
  4. I see a lot of owners here that have Stewart and Rice on their rosters; of which I am also guilty. I say go Rice! Baltimore will have to run early and often to control the clock and keep the pressure off of their QB. Even if McGahee does play I think there will be a lot of carries for Rice.
  5. This is tough... Julius Jones and Mendenhall are ? marks so far. I think Julius will suck this year behind an average Oline... he is no better than Shaun Alexander and look what he did last year. Mendenhall could be the 1 yard TD machine that Bettis was the year before he retired... but we don't know yet. Jamal is nursing a hamstring injury, but he should be ok to start. L.T. - I owned LT for several years in my keeper league... I got him young and enjoyed the ride... but I am not hot on him this year. I think he is due for a bust year. For these reasons: - The Oline is banged up, I think they are starting two back-ups - He lost his blocking back Oneal - He doesn't play preseason anymore and could start the regular season slow again - They sit LT when the Chargers are up big. - They sit LT when the Chargers are guaranteed a playoff spot (likely again this year)... which hurts his fantasy playoff value. on the positive though... i dont think Sproles will be the TD vulture that Michael Turner was. You are too weak at WR to give up Coles... you need Holt, Jamal Lewis and Clinton Portis... and I think you should give up LT, Jones and Sproles.
  6. Do I start 2 RB / 3 WR to start Galloway vs. the Saints. ...if so do I start Ray Rice or Ricky Williams with Jamal Lewis or Do I start 3 RB / 2 WR w/ Jamal, Ricky and Rice and sit Galloway So it would look like: RB Jamal Lewis RB Ricky Williams RB Ray Rice WR Terrell Owens WR Marques Colston or... RB Jamal Lewis RB Ricky Williams or Ray Rice? WR Owens WR Colston WR Galloway My league allows 2 flex positions and WR/TE are combined. Can start 2RB/3WR, 3RB/2WR or 4WR/1RB with 1QB, 1PK, 1DEF. 4pt pass TD, 6pt all other TD, 1pt every 10 yrds rush/rec'v.
  7. I am not suprised that you face the same guy again in this year's championship game... since there only seems to be 2 teams in your league. Either that or a 10 team league with the local girl scouts troop.
  8. What good is that Huddle membership doing you... if you allow someone in your league to pickup LT, Gore and Parker? Might I ask who your RB's are? and... how many teams in your league?
  9. I'd go with Garcia... the Cowboys pass Def is the suck... Garcia has only thrown one pick in 150 passing attempts. San Diego is going to feed LT2 the ball against a weak Seahawks run Defense... Rivers most likely will not throw for 200 yrds and 2 scores... which is less than what I predict for Garcia. Rivers projected week 16 stats: 189 yrds 1 td Garcia proj. week 16 stats: 312 yrds 3 tds
  10. Should also ask them how many teams in their leagues... looks like alot of 12> team leagues chimed in. 14 team re-draft league: E.Manning, J Garcia LT Jones-Drew CJ Reggie Wayne D Driver Kaeding Cowboys D
  11. I agree... Frye is the sleeper this week and the Vikings D is stout. I am trying to squeeze B Edwards into my starting lineup this week...
  12. 14 team league, can start any combination of 5 RB/WR/TE along with 1 QB, 1 PK and 1 Team D. 1 point every 25 yards rush/recv... 6 pts rush/recv TD. Other 3 of the 5 positions are locked... Tomlinson R. Wayne C. Johnson 4._____________ 5._____________ Driver faces the Seahawks Edwards faces the Bengals Jones-Drew faces the Bills ( or even DeAngelo Williams w/ DeShaun bruised up... he was 20 for 114yrds last week) Normally I would start Jones-Drew w/ Driver... and sit Edwards and DeAngelo... but Edwards looked great last week and faces a Bengals team that will give up some big plays. Driver can be studly, but comes off of a bad week due to Favre going down... Favre will play as the Pack has no other viable QB since the backup is now out for the year, but that just makes me wonder. So do I dare sit Driver? or dare sit Jones-Drew? for the shot at Edwards or DeAngelo going off? The next 2 weeks are crucial... I made a great run at high points in the last few weeks after a terrible start due to LT2 and CJ just going crazy.... but it is a tight race for the playoffs, one slip and I could find myself in the toilet bowl bracket.
