IrishPride
What scheduler in their right mind thought? Hey, the Titans and Jags will be in the playoff hunt? Great late season match up? Me thinks somone may have some explaining to do about their choices? Well its football and I'm gonna watch......... Better than soccer! Sunday Couch Potatoe
Thought the same thing what a piece of honda game to have on primetime
Zooty
2 non playoff team is exactly why it's scheduled. Wouldn't be fair to teams in the hunt to have to play an important game on a short week. And of course since it's "still football" people will watch.....for a little while
Tripleshot
I think I'd rather watch Pride and Prejudice with my wife than watch this week's Thursday Night Game. That alone should tell you how bad the matchup is.
Dolphin_Akie
Yeah at least if they had it in the first month of the season we could pretend that we didn't know these two teams were complete honda. You have to assume this will be the lowest TNF audience of the season.
loaf
most shows are on their rerun cycle. As a process of elimination, I'll watch

Me: Yes honey, but I'd rather spend the evening with you. Wife: It must be a hondaty game and you're trying to score Wife points...humph Me: Goddamnit

Wife: It must be a hondaty game and you're trying to score Wife points...humph Me: Goddamnit I honestly haven't watched too many TNF games this year, and this one probably won't be an exception. I do have Gerhart starting, so I have a bit of vested interest, but it's still the Titans and the Jags....
stevegrab
This is bound to happen with every team getting at least one TNF game. Nobody knows what teams will be good or won't when the schedule is made (March/April) so expecting them to pick a playoff matchup is unreasonable. If it were on early in the season, that was the more favorable portion of the TNF schedule when games were on CBS as well, so the lesser matchups won't be featured there. Yep, a dumpster fire of a game is expected. But I'll watch (on a lengthy DVR delay) and be prepared to bail when it is horrible for other programs. PS The Saturday games are not that much more appealing IMHO. PHI should crush WAS, and I'm not sure what to make of SD-SF, since the 49ers have been on the decline. darin3
Picked up Gerhart and the Titans D in a redraft where I need to swing for the fences this week. TNF has been ugly pretty much all season, and this one could be one of the ugliest. Sloppy mess. Hoping for 60-70 yards and a TD out of Gerhart. 3-4 sacks, 2-3 turnovers from the Titans D.
