Team Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 This shows how old school Aqua is. bOb of nOrth comes out of hibernation to wish our brethren well. bOb - I ruined Aqua's 15 minutes of fame by knowing it was him. I know my PA woods and I just knew that was him. I pulled a Big John like guess and got him about 5 minutes after the pic was posted. Oh the old days. Next thing you know Bumbo and Team will show up with Griz and RobDor. Wow. This is tough news. Great to see the support on here though. I'll add the lungs to my prayers. Now let’s make sure we keep Aqua and Audrey in our prayers as this is very hard for him and also very hard for her. She is stuck down here in Pittsburgh and has not been to work in over six weeks. I wish I could think of something special to do for her but I can’t. If anyone else has an idea feel free to PM me. Skippy Posted April 15, 2008 Author Share Posted April 15, 2008 A little Aqua update as I snuck a visit in today. Aqua is in some significant pain today as some of his mussels are having spasms. They are trying to get him on the right amount of morphine so that he can be awake but not in a ton of pain. They are also going to give him a mussel relaxer to help him sleep at night. His Chemo that should have started up is being delayed a little because he is running a low grade fever. Now off the medical and into the personal. He has two shelves that are loaded with cards right now. About half of them are from the huddle brethren. Those cards do seem to make him happy as well as a few letters that he has received. I know it makes him feel good to know that we are thinking about him so keep up the good work. I was able to present Audrey with part one of the paypal and I could actually read Aqua’s lips when he said Thank You. Tell everyone Thank You! Audrey was sort of blown away a little with what we have done so far. She also wants to convey a really big thank you to everyone for the cards and the paypals. I think we are doing a tiny little bit to keep his spirits lifted just a little and really that could make a really big difference. I knew you all were a big part of his life and I at times I was a little jealous of how much time he spent here. Now I understand why he did. What a great bunch of people. Thank you Skippy for coming to visit. It lifts both our spirits. I really don't know how to thank all of you for the gift of money. It is going to go a long way to help make up my lost pay and also to help cover some of the medical bills which I will deal with later. Thank you all for being here for us! I'm going to show her your post because this IS a great bunch of people even with their myriad flaws and warts. If you think our prayers, cards, etc are working then there is only one thing to do....we all need to continue to send more prayers and cards, etc. until Aqualung is well and back among us.
