I was offered Tim Hightower and would be losing Brandon Marshall.

It is a PPR league 1pt per rec, 1pt per 10 rush/rec yards and 6pts for a TD

If i accept this trade, my roster would look like this

QB shaub
Rbs: S. Jackson, Hightower, Moreno, K. Smith, P. Thomas and Charles
WRs: A. Johnson, R. Wayne, Burleson and S. Smith (NYG)
TE: Clark

What you all think?

you list your team as having hightower. I would rather have Hightower I think. Denver wr's are just too inconsistent.

In a PPR, I think you are improving your backfield significantly. And because you have such strong receivers, losing Marshall doesn't hurt you. He probably wouldn't start for you anyway.

Make the trade.

Marshall has such potential IMO...any other offers on the table?

Yea, I agree about Marshalls potential but Im weak at RB IMO. Since my #1 pick Jackson just now got his 1st TD. With Kevin Smith being hurt and could lose carries cause he hasn't shown enough to Schwartz.

with p. thomas and t. hightower's sweet schedules to close the season, an sjax injury/failure to do anything (i.e. score a td heh) wont hurt your scoring potential.

you can never have enough depth at RB. I just lost k.smith AND slaton this week, now I'm desperately trying to trade randy moss for an RB1. Trust me depth is a good thing.

So are you saying, make the trade? Would I have a drop off at WR you think?

The dude originally wanted Hightower for Marshall and K. Smith
With this comment he left

"It s one higher ranked players for two lower ones. you get your #2 rb ypu want and you give up your # 4 wr and the rb you wont need any more. Let me know if this is good or counter it with something"

sure marshall has upside. Question: when will he ever see the field with AJ,Wayne, and smith cruising every week? Take your lumps in week 10 and go for it I say. Your worst-case scenario is beanie wells takes over and you fall back on your depth.

Yea, Marshall has made one start for me which was last week and it was a POS game. Hightower would start instantly and i can rely on smith or burleson when AJ has his bye in week 10

Hightower is a WR that runs the ball as well. So, in a PPR league you DEFINITELY want to make this trsde.

--------------------
QB- Aaron Rodgers,
RB's- Marshawn Lynch, Ced Benson, Thomas Jones, Fred Jackson, Jamal Lewis
Wr's- Reggie Wayne, Larry Fitzgerald, Devery Henderson
TE- Witten, Cooley
K- Bironas
D- Jets, Patriots

Agree, hightower is good for 7 catchs for at least 40 yards and 30-40 rush yards and a TD

I'd do the trade. As pointed out, Hightower catches as many or more than Marshall, typically gets about the same yards, and both have near the same touchdowns. Plus the rest of the year Marshall is facing several strong passing defenses, and Hightower is going against weak passing defenses that might help his yards in the passing game.

K - J. Scobee, M. Stover
Def - Bears, Bengals
