It looks as if we are on the rocks right now, and we need to make some decisions. If Billay needs some help-I'll be happy to become co-commish, as I've been running my own leauge for 8 years now, and playing FF since 1989. I have a paypal acct etc etc. C'mon let's go people

Is there a draft date set?

I have no idea, and I'm close to bailing out of this sinking ship.

Looks like maybe we should take a look at postponing this league for this season and see if someone is ready to take the ball and coordinate a LIVE draft next year.

Part of my reason for wanting to play in this league is to actually meeting at least 10 other Huddlers and since that idea has gone up in smoke, my interest has waned.

I think we all know the other owners and we could re-do the interest in a LIVE draft next June to try and get a date and time scheduled.

It would have been great to try it this year, but it looks like both billay and keggerz were both too busy to try and work it out this year.

Just my thoughts...

Here's my solution for this year, now I beleive that Yahoo is free to set up a "Private" leauge with a password. They also do a ten team format, we have ten teams. Someone make a yahoo private leauge, and the ten teams we have do it. Still $100 per team-If you make the play-offs(4 teams) you get $100 back, then Champ gets 65-70% of the remaining purse, and runner-up 30-35%.

I am OK with that solution, but I am not sure how we would do an auction league on Yahoo. I am also too busy to do anything other than a draft so if you want to set it up and coordinate... I would welcome your running with the ball to get it done.

count me out if it is for a ten team draft... I signed up for a 12 team auction. I just don't care for a ten team format, talent is not scarce enough.

Sounds like we will need to make some decisions quickly or just take a hiatus for the season and re-visit the league next year.

Agreed-The Wilmington Warriors have officially withdrawn from this season, but as PSU said, I agree-let's try again next year. Peace PD.

Sounds like it. Looks like no one wants to take charge. Maybe we just reconvene next summer and see if we can work out a LIVE DRAFT that we can all meet each other and get things started for a long run.

I am to the point where I couldn't manage a draft anyhow, so ....

I havent been officially invited, but I am still interested. Keep me posted whether this yr or next. I wanted to join for the chance to meet some Huddler's.

Well, I got another email from gspot the other day and he is backing out as well, so, now that we have 9 members I guess the answer is yes.

I'm sorry that I have not had the time to givce this this all of my attention, but at the same time, when owners won't even take the time to give a yes or no, I'm in or I'm out, or visit the forum to help pick dates, formats, etc. it makes things very difficult.
