Hey Family,

I was looking at top WR's in our league and I gotta give it to.....

1. Walker/A. Johnson-Favre will be throwing all year and Walker is a stud
Only team I see with TWO top 10 WR's.
2. Holt/Coles-We know Holt is good and I think the Pennington/Coles combo will start up
where they left off with Coles finishing right outside the top ten
(no Bias here sneaky.gif ).
They are MINE, all MINE and no one can have them g-coach.gif .
3. Wayne/S. Smith-Wayne is a lock for top ten along with Harrison. Smith right about
top 12.
4. Moss/Bruce-Moss should be top 3 and Bruce is the second best #2 WR in the NFL
behind Wayne.
5. Owens/Ward-Could be higher be TO is TO and who knows if he will even play.
Ward shoud produce better numbers this year with Big Ben.

I will stop there. OK Let's discuss. Tell us why your guys are better.

Just for fun...no blood shed. g-thinking.gif

I was surprised I got Ward when I did. I really expected to be outbid since I was running short on cash at that time. I'm excited to have him. If Owens actually plays all 16 games, I think I have a shot at the top WR tandem this season. He would have been #1 last year if not for the missed games.

Had I not been short on dough too you wouldn't have, you outbid me on him and I couldn't free up enough to get him back.

1,2, and 4 for sure. I'd go with High Score's Harrison/Burleson over Wayne/S Smith - I figure Burleson and Smith as a wash, maybe a slight edge to Burleson - but you're ranking an offenses #2 ahead of it's #1? huh.gif The mean man inside me says "welcome to the league" wink.gif

Bleeding Cream and Crimson also has the prolific Driver to go in with Holt and Coles - VERY nice depth.

...and as much as I love Ward, I'm more than happy to let someone else sweat out the potentially VERY ugly TO situation.
Los Gigantes
While I would not but branch/evans on this list, they could suprise.

Chavez,

I like Steve Smith slightly better than Nate B....
everybody expects Burleson to pick off where Moss left off and I don't see it.
I do think S. Smith will pick up right where he left off......
I see Smith in the 10-12 range and Nate in the 12-14 range.

and Harrsion and Wayne are both studs on the BEST "O" in the NFL. I could see both Marvin and Reggie finish in the top 10 WR's again this year. They could have very similar numbers. Kind of a 1a and 1b.
Yes, Marvin is still #1 but Reggie is not that far behind. I could see Marvin with more
catches and Wayne with more TD's....make sense?!?! rolleyes.gif

Thanks for the friendly welcome but I think this is my 3rd year unsure.gif
I picked up Dom in free agency a long time ago.......

Anyway, good luck to ya....

Where Smith left off was 88-1110-7; Burleson had 68-1006-9 spending a good chunk of time as a #2;

I'm not counting on Burleson putting up Moss #s, I'm just expecting him to better his totals from last year - totals that were 100 yds behind and 2 tds ahead of where Smith left off. Pep > Delhomme, I like the chances of that happening. But like I said, it's slight - I'd be surprised if both don't have solid-to-great years.

And as for Harrison/Wayne - favoring the #1 over the #2 is just a personal bugaboo. Harrison remains the go-to guy in that offense, Wayne is the complement. Look at the Rams - Bruce has been VERY good, but still trails Holt in all the major categories by a good chunk.

g-doah.gif I know you as jbaber, not as redcoltfan. My bad....

Chavez,

No problemo. Good talkin' with ya!
I thought it was a stretch to put Wayne ahead of Harrison....I tried... biggrin.gif
All reports from COLTS camp just say that Reggie looks very very good.
In the best shape of his career...a bit quicker...blah..blah...
So, I like both Colts WR's.

I see that Smith and Burleson could have very similar #'s.
I guess I see C-pepp passing less than last year.
Smith to have a top 10 year.
Smith returns punts also...

Good luck!

I was so high on Walker I've got him in 4 leagues. I believed.

Always funny re reading some of these thigngs.
DO Jaded
Looks like it's Owens and Boldin for now. With Ward backing up. He'd be higher if not for already having his bye. yay.gif

And let's not forget my boy McAllister who is also out of the season. g-doah.gif
