took a look. not impressed. If you want westbrook, you'll need to do a lot better.

What Josh said goes for me as well - Parker for ELI Manning is a no-go.

See anything you like, just trying to get discussions started.....

<soapbox> Let me just state for the record how much I hate low-ball trade offers just to get discussions started. Of course, that's not as much as I hate when other owners start the discussions with, "Hey, you interested in trading? If so, send me an offer." You know how many times I've been asked to trade but the other owner refuses to make the first trade offer? Even when they initiated the trade talks! g-bash.gif

Why can't people just make solid trade offers that benefit both teams? Why waste all the time trying to get the upper hand on another team? It's aggravating and in my view disrespectful!</soapbox>

Now, if someone offers me a lopsided trade in my favor, I have no problem accepting that offer. I just wouldn't have offered it to start. smile.gif

That said, any of my WRs, besides Owens, is available in combination with any of my RBs for an upgrade in my RB slot. I'll look over the rosters and see about sending out my own offers. sneaky.gif

Oh, you have me laughing now rofl.gif I should just kick the soapbox out now. The only time anyone ever would want to make a trade is if they thought they were getting the upper hand. It is all about perspective and what that person values. I didn't think my offers were crazy, but sure I thought they favored my position, otherwise I wouldn't offer. I ask to see how interested anyone else is in trading and seeing if we can get to something reasonable.

It is kind of like walking into a car dealership. I would never buy a car with "fixed" or "fair" pricing. I LOVE TO NEGOTIATE!!!! That is the joy in it. Otherwise, everyone would be equal in this world!

Hey, I think I got on the soapbox?

Depends; of COURSE I love to be on the winning end of an uneven trade - but if I need a position and have depth and can make a fair trade to upgrade, that's just fine with me.

I have to whole-heartedly disagree. The only time I'm willing to trade is when my team will benefit. If that means I give up more in the trade due to my depth, I'll do it if it means more wins or a better chance in the playoffs.
For the record, please don't ever offer me a trade you wouldn't consider accepting if on the other end. Negotiations are one thing, but lowballing is just a waste of my time.

True, but depth at QB and DEF doesn't help me!
