And I notice that he's 0-3 despite being 3rd in the league in scoring.
And I look at his roster and match it up against mine:
QB
Bulger v Culpepper - obviously the Giants are a better matchup than the formidable Falcs, but both games should be relatively high-scoring so I'll call it a push, maybe a slight edge to Pep because he can run
RB
Barlow/Shipp v Alexander/Dillon - Dillon doesn't worry me too awful much vs SD, and one can reasonably hope Alexander blew his wad last week; even if you grant that, they're STILL better than Barlow/Shipp - big edge to wiegie, possibly HUGE if my guys either crap out or one/both of wiegie's put up the #s they're capable of
WR/TE
Here it's my turn - I like CJ/K Curtis/Gates MUCH better than Calico/Lelie/Cooley; considering I've got two primary WRs in favorable matchups - CJ's #s might be down because Cinci figures to go up big on Hou early, but Gates should exploit NE's battered D and Curtis will get plenty of gravy if NY/StL is high scoring - much better than the weak #2 WRs and scrub TE wiegie has. Be very surprised if this isn't a big edge to me.
D/K -
Figuring RBs are the gold of the fantasy world, wiegie probably wins a fairly close one; best hope is my receiving advantage balances his rushing advantage.
Either way, wiegie still molests collies.
