My 2-pronged strategy was to draft for value and essentially ignore defense early with the notable exception of the all important linebacker position. Picking 6th, I knew I would be guaranteed a top rb/wr combo. In round 1, I took the consistently reliable and under-valued Tiki, then Chad Johnson in round 2 for a great start! Jamal Lewis presents some element of risk but in the 3rd round was worth a chance(same for Ahman Green in the 9th round and White in the 12th). Then went LB's with 2 front line producers in Thomas and Pierce. Crumpler was good value in the 6th and I was thrilled that Bulger fell to me in the 10th. With that core, I felt I could pick best player available the rest of the way and stole some absolute gems. Took some gambles but this team has a hugh upside!
