Just cut and pasted this from the thread where this was voted on and wanted to refresh this for all the playoff participants so there would be no confusion over any ties that may occur in the playoffs.
Tiebreaker #1
Total TDs scored by the entire starting lineup (except PK) of each team.
Tiebreaker #2
Team with the longest TD scored.
Please see the example below for how these would work:
Example #1
Each team ties with 100 pts.
Team A has 11 TD's (between all starters)
Team B has 9 TD's
Team A would win the tiebreaker.
Example #2
Use the same example, but each team also scores 10 TDs.
Team A's longest TD is a 34 yd TD run
Team B's was a 42 yd TD reception
Team B wins by virtue of Tiebreaker #2.
I believe this is fair and eliminates any unfair advantage due to bench players that may be hurt or on a bye. It also uses TD's the focus of football, decide the winner!
