Full Version: One Free Mulligan

Sgt. Ryan
We need 7 votes either way to pass.

Since the draft was done so early, Ive been approached about waivers, and the ability to make changes to our team before the season begins. I thought a nice idea would be to have one mulligan, not counting the 10 total moves, to make one change to your roster before Free Agency beings on August 15.

If we get 7 votes for this, you can pick up one player at a position and drop another at the same position, since we have strict rules about having the same amount of players at each position.

We would do this in a draft style formation, with the team picking last in the draft getting the first player they want to add, and the team with the #1 pick getting the last free add.

We could start this in that order on August 1. Giving each owner 24 hours to make a change. So at the worst we are done with this on August 13, 2 days before FA opens up FCFS for the league.

Please vote below if you are in favor of the mulligan idea for each team in the league.

a reminder

FCFS Free agency will begin Aug 15 , until Kickoff of the first game, then its waiver request, followed by FCFS afterwards until kickoff of the next game and so on.

I would be up for one round of FA prior to the season, but I want the move to count on people's move limits ...

So no ...

I agree with Beaumiont. I don't mind having the early move, but I think it should count against the limit.

Free Agency begins on August 15, before the seasons and those count towards your 10. This is for one free one prior to that. Just to clarify. But based on your comment, this is a NO for you. thanks for voting...

This draft was unique BECAUSE you knew you only had a few FA pickups to use. I think the mulligan idea is kinda antithetical to the theme of this league.

NO

Edit: I also agree with Beaumont -- I don't mind the date, really, but it should count. Maybe give owners the option of doing it early or saving it for later. shrug.gif

I'm going to have to vote "NO" on this one.

It's the risk we take in this league...to get into the book, you take the risks.

No mulli.

Sort of torn on this one.......I like the mulligan idea, but I have different thoughts on the date and that there should only be one FA before the season starts.

I'll vote NO.....leave it as is for now.
Sgt. Ryan
NO mulligan after vote.

Free Agency begins Aug 15 at noon EST, FCFS as many as you like until kickoff of week 1. All adds count towards your 10, IR, player changes, etc....
