Playoff Format:
Championship Bracket
division winners - seeds #1 & #2 - 1st. round byes.
seed #1 to the best record between the two. total points, then head to head, then conference record as the tiebreakers.
next 4 best records - seeds #3 > #6.
tiebreakers - total points, head to head, conference record
the #1 seed plays the lowest remaining seed in Rd.2. The #2 seeds gets the other.
Toilet Bowl Bracket
all seeds are based on record, then total points,head to head, conference, etc.
seeds #7 & #8 - 1st. rd. byes
seeds #9 > #12 works just like the upper bracket.
the 4 League champions are then sent to the HAG royale and are ranked 1 > 4, based on total points for the entire season...... in case the 3rd. tiebreaker is needed in the final..... VERY remote.

EDIT: Also, total points versus HTH was discussed ad nauseum. Because teams only play outside their divisions twice, but yet we are taking the top 4 teams in record for the wildcards as opposed to the top 2 in each division, we decided that total points would be a more consistant measure. HTH might end up getting bypassed often.
We can discuss this in the offseason. With the schedule set-up, I would push that the op 3 teams in each division make the playoffs, and then using HTH as the main tiebreaker makes more sense.
