I hope it's sneaky.gif but it's probably going to be whacko2.gif
SupaMann
So you're saying there's a chance? yay.gif

Actually, looks like all I need to happen is for Tom to lose this week against Coyle coach.gif (could easily happen, as Coyle's team is no pushover) and my team to win. My team is flexing their muscles guns.gif this week, so I'm hoping some of the testosterone carries over this week biggrin.gif However, I face the Thrashers, who historically give me lots of trouble I believe.

Criteria for playoff spot shows 1) overall win % 2) head to head boxing.gif (Tom and I split) 3)Divisional win % (we are both 3-2 currently) 4) Total points. If my team wins against Thrashes, both our overall win records would be 8-6, our head to head is even, my divisional win record is 4-2 and if Tom loses to Coyle Flinstone, he drops to 3-3. So.......the 200 point deficit never comes into play. doh3.gif

Unfortunately for you, that's the tie-breaker scenario for the division title...the wildcard tie-breakers don't utilize the divisional win/loss record...sorry bro, but it's in the rules. huh2.gif

So, what exactly does determine the wild card spot then? Head to Head, then total points Head to Head?

Looks like I am back to a one in a million chance.

Per our league rules...found in the league bylaws on the MFL website:

Division title tie-breakers

1. Best W/L percentage
2. H2H
3. Best divisional W/L percentage
4. Highest total points scored

Wildcard tie-breakers

1. Best W/L percentage
2. H2H
3. Highest total points scored
