I think it is time we start discussing potential replacement owners and what course of action we want to do for the league.
Do we want to go to a 3 division league, for NorCal, SoCal and Transplants, or stick with what we have done the last 2 years?
Any other topics for discussion?

I like the idea of 3 divisions for North, South, and Transplants

Do we have to call the division 'Transplants' though?...sounds like we've been surgically altered or similar...
How about something more user friendly like 'geographically challenged'...

You still ive in Cali though right, so it wouldn't affect you?
We could always define them as living easterly of the tropic of wiegie.

Howabout NorCal, SoCal, and NoCal divisions. Not that the names really matter.

Well, from the consensus formed here, looks like the 3 Conference/Division approach is a go.
Now to allcoate owners appropriately and find the necessary additional owners to at minimum replace Meat Face and KC Crazy

Unsure...right now we are checking out the polygamy laws in Texas but it's not looking good. Might have to go to Utah instead...

The three divisions works for me, being stuck with Darin, ABWF, yep no real competition there

Yeah, that's just 1st and 2nd place from last year...
The 3 division format sounds good to me. The new canidates sound fine. Also my offer to have the draft at my house is still open if we want to have it up here.

I don't mind flying up to your place for the draft as long as we schedule it enough in advance. My August is already filling up with other commitments.

I may be able to get up there for a live draft, though I am out of the country from August 22nd through Labor Day... and having just had baby #2 it i a bit more difficult to leave the wife overnight now.
I would love to do a live in-person draft but it'd have to be early to mid-August, as I will be going to Vegas for WCOFF again. Two trips out west may not be feasible.

This might work out for me. I have been kicking around a West Coast vacation (San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle) and finishing up in Vegas in Aug. If we can lock in a date I might be able to include it it the trip.
I'm game for pretty much anything, live draft....anywhere. Online draft....anytime. Party at Al's...I'm there
FYI, keep this under wraps as I'm not sure if he wants to make it public, but ABWF will be able to join the "No-Cal" transplant division as of this next season.

With the cost of living the way it is in San Diego, I'm hoping to be in a Faultline "transplant" division some day too.

Moving out to Austin in July, as my house closes escrow about the end of June. So definitely a transplant this season...

NorCal: Gopher, slambo, alchico, kpholmes
SoCal: REZ, Chargerz, Danskman, BC
NoCal: darin3, JoJo, ABWF, Bier (hopefully)
We need to push Bier. Am I forgetting anyone?

I don't think so.
So it looks like Bier is definitely out. I have taken it upon myself to find another "transplant", and I think I may have found early success.... stay tuned.
