Things seemed to have stalled. Any updates?

No updates. Lots of promises, but no updates.

Not your fault, but it's putting a damper on my enthusiasm for the league to start. I though we had a bunch of owner beating your door down. Apparently that's only until the money is due.

Come on people, step up and pay up. Let's get it on.

i'm not making excuses for others but keep in mind that the league setup post originally said (and still says) the dues are due july 15th plus this week is a common time to go on vacay. by the time the notice to pay NOW (and not the 15th) was sent out (early/mid last week i believe) many could have been in that pre-packing/wrapping things up before vacay phase. i wasn't even going on vacay but i was strapped at work and with guests coming into town.

personally, i just wrote my check and it's waiting for the mailman to pick it up tomorrow. andrew should have it by sat or monday.

in light of the delays, perhaps we should consider revising the dues policy to make the 2nd half of the dues due the week BEFORE the draft (not day OF the draft) to further reduce the odds of no shows?

not mad one bit. i just think it's a bit too early to assume all those who originally expressed interest changed their minds because dues were due. i'm as eager about this league as the next guy...not sure about u guys, but i've been trying to come up with a nj/philly-area based/themed team name. care to join me?

nice job recruiting owners guys. i know it's not easy.
all of my efforts have come up dry (most people say they are already at their max) but i have a live draft tomorrow night in NJ and will mention it to some other people to see if there are any takers.
