I have not heard from two current owners yet. I believe all known openings have been filled.

Even after PM'ing them? That's odd.

Actually, I emailed them. One I don't think is a huddler and the other has not been on the huddle since January.

What's the time table for them being in or out?

I'll try to contact them again. I don't want to wait much past next week to start looking for replacement owners.

I was kind of kidding when Apoc sent me a PM that I was in the league. That having been said, I am happy to join and my money has been sent to TOS. Thanks for the invite guys.

My new recruitment strategy is going to involve sending random PMs to huddlers welcoming them to the league.

Sounds good. I just want to know that we have a full league of paying memebers and what my draft spot will be. Also, I'd like to know when and what type (slow draft?) this will be. At this rate it looks as if many of us will have multiple slow drafts going at the same time.

Agreed. We can't wait any longer if there are have several attempts to contact that member. I think we should move on.

At this point, we are short two owners.

I can post in the four other BOTH leagues I'm in, although one of them is in the same boat currently.

One of my assistant golf professionals plays in a few leagues and I have told him about our league and he is interested. I can vouch for him ethically and financially. Hey, he has to report to me everyday! Let me know what you guys think.

Apoc, how many owners do we have confirmed? If all else fails can we do a 10-teamer? I've never played in one, but to keep the league going, maybe that is an option to consider.

Losing Zooty, and assuming the owners we haven't heard from are out, we are down 3.

I don't think we are going to draft until BigMike gets back in late August, so we still have time. We can do 10 teams (or even 11) if necessary.

10 would be okay, but let's try and get 12.

That means we have 10 owners and 2 openings.

Well, I would certainly prefer 12, but if we had to live with 10 we could...

As would I, I think we can get this to 12 members pretty easily.

I agree...what type of draft this year. This year I am going to be on a trip during labor day weekend. However, I can make plans/arrangements. If need be.
