Let's try to see if we can pin down a time or two where we could pull off a live draft. As Rez noted, that is/was a major appeal to this league.

So, since we still need to finalize collecting dues (you all should have been e-mailed from the site, except kpholmes as I didnt have his e-mail addy but Darin said he'd contact him), and we need to get the draft order set up, let's throw out yea/nay to dates starting as earlier as Saturday. As we are primarily West Coasters, let's say 7pm PST start time for a weekday.. weekends we can have a bit more flexibility in time I would think.

Please reply with any time you are unavailable. I am amrkin OUT the days I know for sure I can't do. As I am out of the cuntry for two weeks, if one of those days is the best for the rest of he league, I will arrange for a proxy to draft for me.

I can't do a live draft on Aug 11th (work), Aug 12th (grandson's BD party), Aug 25th (work), August 26th (local draft), August 31st (family outing), or Labor Day WE (family plans).

Saturday 8/18 is NOT good for me.... 36 holes of golf followed by live draft/poker in northern Minnesota. Also, will be unavailable Thursday 8/16 and Friday 8/17, as I will be participating in my brother's wedding festivities. Looking at the dates listed that are possibilities, I would vote for either of the following:

- Monday 8/20 - Flying back from MN that morning, but would be available for online live draft from early afternoon on, through the evening.
- Either Tuesday 9/4 or Wednesday 9/5, although Wednesday might be pushing it to the last minute.

Otherwise, if we decide to do a slow draft, I am pretty much open to starting it any time. Once again, though, I will be pretty much unavailable for three days straight (August 16-18) and early Sunday 8/19.

I don't think we're gonna be able to get everything settled in time for an August 18 or 19 draft. The next available dates are Sept 3, 4 or 5. Does anyone have a preference as to those dates? I am setting up the dice roll thread now. If this league is gonna happen this year, we need to get this settled ASAP.

Also, I'm having some trouble confirming with club as to if he's in for sure or not. He has Paypal'ed me a portion of his entry fee, but some things have "come up" in his life recently that may change his status here. I have a backup plan, though. A buddy of mine (who's not a Huddler - yet - and has been in my "friendly" league with some of my college and HS friends) says he'll take the team. He'll sign up for an account here, etc. He said he'd name his team "Dead Money" so I guess we should welcome him with open arms. He fits the "NoCal" designation: I believe he was born/raised in Texas, but lived in Cali for quite some time, and has since moved back to Houston. Great guy.

Hi guys, sorry for the absense. Not used to having a 7 months old baby around when the NFL season begins.

I have my long-standing "local" draft on Sept 3rd, a Monday night. It's via telephone, so I could conceivably do both at the same time. But of course if we can avoid that, it'd be better.

As I told Darin via text, just found out that the 4th is the parent's night for my son's first day of preschool. I'm supposed to be there from 5:30 to 8:00 PM PST. I can find a proxy to stand in for me probably until I get home (maybe send him picks via text or something) as I do not want to try find a different date that works as were cutting it close to the season as it is.
