RULES:
HAG (Huddle Ages Group) is a Fantasy Football group made up of four leagues based on the ages of the participants.
HOT (Huddle Old Timers) 51+
Generation Lost 41-50
Prime Time 31-40
NVN (No Viagra Needed) Under 31
*Age Movement Rule.
League is based on age with four groups of 12. Those members exceeding maximum age before the kickoff of the next season are ineligible for their current age group league and must move up to the next age group league.
The following will apply to members moving up to the next age group league:
1. Current league members gain a position on the waiting list in front of non-HAG members, but behind HAG members that have already spent time on the waiting list for the next league up. The order in which new members of the waiting list appear will be determined by their number of seasons in HAG. DOB will be the tie breaker when determining position on the waiting list until 2010, changing to overall regular season winning percentage as the first tie breaker and DOB as the second tie breaker beginning the with the conclusion of the 2010 season (It is to be noted that an aged out persons wait time on a waiting list is counted towards their seasons in HAG just as if they were still playing. If that person does not wish to go on a waiting list, or does not wish to participate when there is a spot open, their seasons in HAG revert to zero.) There shall be a pinned topic in each league forum that contains the cumulative records of league members.
2. The permanant waiting list will have 5 names. Once movement has occured and each league has 12 members; Then, shalt thou list five, no more, no less. Five shalt be the number thou shalt list, and the number of the listing shalt be five. Six shalt thou not list, nor either list thou four, excepting that thou then proceed to five. Seven is right out. (More than 5 names on a list can occur depending upon how many members are required to move up and how many spots are available in each league.) If the list is filled by HAG members there will be no spots available for non-hag members that season.
3. List will open the Monday after HAG Battle Royale for existing HAG members, and the Monday after NFL SB for non-HAG members. Those already on the list when sign-ups open to non-HAG members have priority.
4. Once a member has been chosen for a league, they cannot be bumped out of that league until they are either no longer age eligible, they become inactive during the season, Fail to pay league fees on time, or they remove themselves from that league at the end of the season.
5. No person can be place on a waiting list for a league they are not eligible for.
*Huddle Membership required. Any person not a current member of the Huddle no less than one week prior to the draft will be replaced.
* Made up of four 12 team re-draft leagues.
* Each league will have 2 divisions of 6 teams. The divisions will be realigned each year. The teams picking 1,3,5,7,9,11 will make up one division, and the teams picking 2,4,6,8,10,12 will make up the other.
* The leagues will be hosted at MFL and the league message boards will be hosted at The Huddle.
* These are 12 week head to head leagues.
* Individual League Playoffs are weeks 13, 14, and Superbowl week 15.
* The HAG Battle Royale will take place in week 16 of the NFL regular season. The HAG Consolation Bowl Battle Royale will also take place in week 16.
* Team ranks for playoffs will be based on win-loss record, then total points, then win-loss vs opponent tied with.
Fees:
* $100 per team. All fees due no later than July 31 to respective league treasurers. There will be no excuses. No fees, no play and replaced.
* Each team roster will have 18 players. Amount of players for each position is up to each owner, however, each owner must be able to field a full lineup by the end of the draft and each week. No roster will be less than 18, nor more than 18, players at all times. There will be no uneven trades.
* Weekly roster will contain 9 players:
1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 TE
1 Flex (RB/WR/TE)
1 K
1 Def
* Lineups are due 5 minutes before kickoff of the first Sunday game. If there is a Thursday or Saturday game, players used in those games must be in the lineup prior to kickoff of those games. After kickoff players in those games are locked from use.
* Free Agency/Wavier Wire:
All teams will be given $1000.00 in fake money (HAG Dollars) to be used in FA/WW moves only. Tracking will be accomplished at MFL. Money cannot be used as part of a trade. Each week, beginning with the first week of the regular NFL season, the WW process will take place on Wed at 7PM PST. All bids must be submitted prior to that time. Email timestamp, as observed by the Commissioner in each league, will determine valid requests. For the first week of the season draft order will determine tie breakers. After the first weeks games have been played tie breakers will be determined by last to first method. Blind bids will be in whole numbers. Each League Commissioner will supply a dedicated Waiver Wire email address to be published in these rules for their respective leagues. Players dropped may not be picked up until the next week's FA/WW period.
In addition to the blind bid, there will be a first come first served period in FA/WW. This period is from the time the weeks bids are resolved (either as they are processed automatically on MFL, or if that is an unsuccessful method after the bids are resolved by hand) until kickoff of the first game. Teams are limited to 15 FCFS moves for the season, with each move costing $10 of your HAG dollars. There is no limit to the number of FCFS moves you can make in a week, excepting if you run out of your 15 moves. Players dropped may not be picked up until the next week's FA/WW period.
There is no Free Agency deadline, saving that teams eliminated from playoffs may not participate in Free Agency.
* Trading
All trades must be approved by the respective League Commissioner. Trading of draft picks in the current year only is allowed. Trades must be accomplished in a one-for-one manner. This maintains the integrity of the no more/no less 18 man roster requirement. Trades involving the League Commissioner will be handled by the Assistant Commissioner. Trades involving the League Commissioner and the Assistant Commissioner will be handled by the League Treasurer (if a Commissioner is also the Treasurer, that league must designate a 'Dual Commissioner Trade Representative' to handle this scenario).
Trading deadline is start of week 10 games.

With regular season games, ties are ties. With decimal scoring this is very rare.
* At the end of the regular season, playoff teams are determined by Won-Loss record. (In case of a tie: Ties are broken one at a time. For example if three teams tie with the best record there is a tie breaker with all three teams to determine the first place team and a tie breaker with only the two teams left to determine second place, etc.)
During the playoffs each team will designate a "tie-breaker" player 1, 2, and 3. In cases where a tie still exists, total points will determine the winner. If a tie still exists, the higher seeded team will be declared the winner.
Above applies to both the regular playoffs and the Consolation Bowl playoffs.
Playoff Format:
UPPER BRACKET
division winners - seeds #1 & #2 - 1st. round byes.
seed #1 to the best record between the two. total points, then head to head, then conference record as the tiebreakers. The next 4 best records are seeds #3 - #6.
tiebreakers - total points, head to head, conference record
the #1 seed plays the lowest remaining seed in Rd.2. The #2 seeds gets the other.
LOWER BRACKET
all seeds are based on record, then total points, head to head, conference, etc.
seeds #7 & #8 - 1st. rd. byes
seeds #9 > #12 works just like the upper bracket.
the 4 League champions are then sent to the HAG royale and are ranked 1 > 4, based on total points for the entire season...... in case the 3rd. tiebreaker is needed in the final..... VERY remote.
* Draft:
Draft order will be determined by a dice roll each and every season. (This is due to the turnover that will occur.) All dice rolls are required to be accomplished no later than July 15th each year. All leagues will use: Dice Server for their dice rolls, as follows:
How many dice would you like rolled? 12
How many sides on each dice? 100
Should anything be added or subtracted from the total roll? No
You can drop either the highest or lowest roll. Drop neither (uncheck both)
The entire roll can be repeated how many times? 1
Mailing Info:
Subject of the mail note: "Whichever league" 06' Draft Selection
Type in your address: This is the Commissioner's email addy.
Also email the results to: A/C email addy; rollers email addy.
The highest roll gets the first pick, on down until the lowest roll who will have the twelfth pick.
The respective league Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner email addresses will be used. If a dice roll is not received by both Commissioners the dice roll will be considered as to not have occurred and a new roll must be accomplished.
All four drafts will take place in early August each year on a date to be determined no later than the 1st week of July. The drafts will occur from Sat. through Sat. and will be an open draft, (i.e. no specific time limit on making picks, but all owners will ensure they will make their picks in a timely fashion).
