Based on owner availability between now and the start of the season, I think we need to start our draft as soon as possible. I would have preferred to draft live, or at least closer to the start of the season, but I don't think either is feasible this year.

As a result, I am going to set the start of the draft for Monday 8/13 @ 12 Noon EST with no time limit set on picks until 8/26. I will also send an email out to the league for those who do not check the boards regularly.

Please help keep the draft moving by checking in regularly and predrafting where possible. Because of the early start, I am also requesting that everyone pay their league dues in the next couple days.

Sounds good. Hopefully we can knock this out quickly. This really is only about a week or two earler than ideal so I think we should be fine. Let's all pray that no serious injuries happen between the draft and the start of the season.

Has everyone in the league checked in and realize that the draft starts on Monday? Is the draft set up where if I put in LT, it will pick him right now or not until Monday morning?

I'm pretty sure it will not allow you to pick until Monday at noon (EST). I'm not positive that predrafting works on the first overall pick either.

Okay, I'll wait until late Sunday night to put in LT. Since I am on the west coast, I don't want to hold up the draft come Monday morning as everyone will be ready to draft only to wait a few hours for a west coaster to get out of bed. Assuming LT is not injured over the weekend and it doesn't allow me to preselect, you can insert LT for me come Monday morning if I am unable to do it.

RockBottom will pay Mon.............i will be also able to make my first round selection in the morning but wont be able to make a second pick till the evening say aroun 5-6 west coast time..................after that ill be at work or home all week and can draft at will.............

Try to check in with the commish and make a pick if possible midday. I would imagine the first few rounds aren't that difficult to draft, but I do not expect anyone to do auto draft.
