Can someone remind me when and how the FA pickups (after the Blind Bids) are done each week? I'm getting my leagues mixed up.

I know that we need to have our bids in by Wed, 12m ET. Then the commish runs the bids on Thur morning. But, when does the the FCFS FA pickup thing start?

Thanks!

FA pickups are done on the mfl site. Once I run the Blind Bids, you can go on the site and do your own FCFS. The site sends out an e-mail and I go in and take away $10 from your total.

Thanks, 'teve.

May I respectfully suggest the following?

1. I believe the bids are currently due on Wed, midnight (ET). Since the bids are not processed until early the next morning (manually), can we extend this deadline for entering bids? I'm in the MT, and I'm racing to get home before 10pm (12m ET) to sneak in my bids. Sure, I can enter my bids on Tue night, but then I'm at a disadvantage since a lot of the injury news doesn't come out 'til around Wed.

2. Is it possible to have the bids process automatically, at a set time each day? This removes overhead manual work on the commish's part.

3. If we can set the bids to process automatically, is it possible to have a set schedule when the FCFS pickups open each week?

4. I believe the FCFS pickups can now be designated as $10 off our balance, in MFL, elminating that piece of manual overhead by the commish as well.

Thanks for your time.

I have no problem extending the deadline to say 5:00 am EST on Wed. You should know that it is extremely simple for me to process the blind bids--I simply go to the site and under commish, I hit the "process blind bids" button and it's all done. I prefer doing it that way as I don't have to worry about a computer glitch processing bids early, similar to what I understand happened with WCOFF this past year.

I like the idea of setting FCFS to start at a set time, say 10:00 EST on thursdays. I will look into having the FCFS automatically remove the $10 from individual owners.

Finally, I'd like to extend the deadline for the commish to make his blind bids to Wed at 10:00am rather than tues at midnight.

Sounds good.
