I''ve been bumping the topics in other forums, but we are still 2 guys short of a full league.

PLEASE, if you know anyone who may be interested, let me know. Gotta be 30 years old or younger. I don't want to sound desperate, but we are a week away from the draft, so we gotta fill these spots and get them paid to Al.

Do members of this league have any "20 something" friends from local leagues that they might me able to recruit? Get 'em signed up for The Huddle and get 'em in

Unfortunately no, you can't be a 10 team league. I suggested that in the first place, but it was pointed out to me that it would give the NVN member of the battle royal an unfair advantage. We are discussing alternate solutions in the commish forum. BLB should really be the front man if that comes to pass.

In any case, it appears I may have filled a spot for you. With one open spot, the issue becomes more managable. In essence we would draft a dummy team to fill the spot if it were necessary. There's more to the idea for that, but again BLB should be involved in that discussion.

I will ask my son, he is 21 and in Law School,I don't know if has the time but i will ask him for you.

Could we allow one of the younger Prime Timer Waiting list people to step in for a season if we don't find a replacement by the draft date?

That idea was brought up, but we don't want to bend the age rules if we can help it. Having one spot open is a big difference than having two, so hopefully we'll at least get someone in quick.

Please let me know if anyone would have a problem with potentially having a dummy team drafted by the other commishes, since it seems that would be the easiest option at this point. And sorry for not being around today, as I've been buried trying to type up attestation reports while planning new field visits at the same time.

If we can't fill the last spot I would have no problem with the 3 other commishes drafting a dummy team and then putting in the lineup each week.

I got a call from the interested friend today. He said he will register tomorrow. No time today.

Hopefully we will get 12 spots. The draft might have to wait until Mon or so...
