I gotta admit ... I didn't expect a QB run out of the box like we've had (although, I applaud the homer Kitna pick).

I also didn't think Squeegie would allow her sexual fantasies get in the way of her football draft. But, there ya go.

I believe she really wants more patriots and less yankees.

Particularly considering the new news about Jeter...

With the 25th pick, I was really thinking QB. But found myself in an interesting dilemma. I thought I might get to choose between Boldin and Burress. So of course, they both go right before I pick The two quarterbacks I had pegged were the Cards and Giants. I felt there was a significant drop-off at the QB position after those two. So I decided to go QB instead of WR, since I will get the points from Boldin/Burress through whichever QB i chose, and felt there was another drop off at WR after those two went. Picked the Cards. Based solely on better WR's. I hope it turns out . . .

I really thought Dallas was taking Barber. Quite a surprise!

I totally forgot about the draft, long work hours today. It finally hits me that I have a draft and I could be holding it up. Check the site, sure enough it's stuck on me! I go in quick mode trying to update list for quality pick, i was freakin out! I assumed the thing was stuck on me like 1/2 day or so. I make my quick pick only to find out it was only on me for 13 minutes, doh. I'm just glad the angry mob isn't banging on my door.

Everyone was busy. We'll leave some flaming crap next time.

Very surprised by a couple recent picks. First the Dallas homer taking Jamal Lewis over his own Marion Barber.

Then, even more surprising, Washington (which already had Portis), selecting DeAngelo Williams.

I guess I'll just hope this is a passing year, as I'm pretty sure I have the best receiving corps out there in Chad Johnson, Braylon Edwards, & Kellen Winslow.

Yesterday, I was hoping that Braylon Edwards would fall to me at 2.10, but then i looked up and realized the Browns picked just a few spots ahead of me... and that dream was shot down almost before it got off the ground.

I know my CJ2 pick will draw some critisism but at least i don't have to worry about covering a bye week.

I was going to take Dieon Branch, since my WR sucked last year and I struggled with them all season

Well, F'n Thank You Beandip! Left me feeling there was a big drop off at WR and 32 picks later would have left me with both crap at WR AND QB! Took CAR thinking that Steve Smith will be on the other side of that combo and it is the same bye week as the Chargers, making things less complicated . SEA and PITT with CAR were my choices and I thought they were all kind of a wash.

My back to back at 2.32 and 3.01 will be interesting and will make or break the season. Sure LT in a small league is like 1 1/2 players and a huge advantage, but I got lucky last year and snagged Rivers earlier that I should have but got unexpected value production from him. Was bummed to see the early QB run this year and was hoping to build an almost totally homer team again If I don't get some production from these guys at these spots, it could be ugly.

Yeah, I don't think anyone will top that receiving trio.



A homer pick is never wrong in this league. And by my sheet, you didn't really reach much for CJ2, anyway.



I think that's true for all of us in this last third of the draft, because we don't pick again for like a week. Right now, I have no idea which way I'll go. It'll depend heavily on who goes in the next 10 picks.

Can somebody tell me when I am up or my pick? I am at work and MFL is websensed. I preselected my pick and I will probably get it.

I screwed the pooch with my pre-selects and ended up with Ahman Green... It kind of screwed up my strategy...

Even though I hate to root for a cowboy, taking Marion Barber was pretty much my only option.

Got our starting requirements scrooged up.

I just wanted to say we're doing roughly 1 round per day.

Slowed down a bit yesterday but as long as we do 1/2 round per day, that is about the minimum to finish on time.

Homer pick is Jerious Norwood: stomach ailment, looks like he's losing the job to old-and-busted-ass Warrick Dunn
Michael Turner: Pretty severe ankle sprain the same weekend I draft him.

And I can only imagine what happens to the next guy I try to draft.... Can I just start 3 WRs?

Outside of McBoog explaining why having LT in a 32-team league is actually a hugh disadvantage, there really hasn't been a whole lotta talk in this league. I don't know if it's because of the format -- pretty low-maintenance, u can't really brag about waiver wire pickups and stuff -- or we just don't trust each other, or everyone in here is married and appreciates the silence, or what.

So, really, I don't think too many people here have gotten the momo welcome. Scab ain't bad, though.
