I did a quick search on the site and could only come up with what is in the league rules. For some reason, I was under the impression that the IR rules changed last season... I couldn't find anything aside from a discussion regarding 'players moved to IR would stay there the entire season.' Am I mistaken or is there more to this?

Nevermind I found the answer to my question.

September 20th is upon us and this poll is officially closed. Effective immediatley, each team has one "IR" roster spot. Only players on "injured reserve" or "physically unable to perform" lists for NFL purpose are eligible to occupy an IR roster spot. You MAY: (1) cut; (2) trade; or (3) move an IR player to your active roster at any time. You MUST do one of those three as soon as a player is no longer eligible to occupy the IR roster spot.
