I just discovered that I never updated the Rules Document with the updated WW / FA Bid processing that was agreed upon last Sep 2006. So, here it is:

1. WW Bids open at Tue, 12:00am ET (Monday night). Owners can enter their bids directly into MFL at this time. Conditional bids, as well as multiple bids, are supported.

2. You have $1000 play money to use for this year. Bids are made in $1 increments.

3. These WW bids (blind bids) can be entered, modified, deleted thru Thur 12am ET (Wed night).

4. At Thur 12am ET (Wed night), MFL will automatically process the bids, award the players to appropriate teams, and deduct the amount from your WW/FA balance.

5. Starting at Thur 9pm ET, FCFS (first-come-first-serve) waivers are allowed. They can be entered directly into MFL.

6. FCFS pickups can be entered thru Monday 9pm ET. Players that have already started their game CANNOT be picked up.

All players dropped via WW Bids or FCFS pickups are not allowed for pickup until the following week (the next time Tue 12am ET rolls around).

Repeat this process each week.

Refresh my memory here:

Say you want to bid on two players, if possible get them both, and of course drop two players. IIRC, you have to put in bids for two rounds of waivers. Is the below example #1correct?

Blind Bid Example #1

Round 1:
Marshall Faulk $13 Drop Player X
Ricky WIlliams $11 Drop Player X.

Round 2:
Ricky WIlliams $11 Drop Player Y

Thus if my bid was high enough in round 1, I get Marshall and drop X. If my bid was not good enough for Marshall, the computer would see if the Ricky bid was sufficient and drop X. If I got Marshall in round 1, nobody got Ricky in round 1, I would then have a chance to get Ricky in round 2 if the bid was sufficient and drop Y.

Blind Bid Example #2

It would not be correct to only put in as follows:

Round 1:
Marshall Faulk $13 Player X
Ricky WIlliams $11 Player X.
Ricky WIlliams $11 Player Y

Round 2:
No entry.

This scenario would only award a maximum of one player.

That's how I understand it, yes.

Sorry, but you didn't get MFaulk or RWilliams. They should be available on FCFS pickups, though. shades.gif
