I know this is "easy for me to say" since I have LT. But, it if he were to get hurt I would feel the same way and he isn't going to play forever.

I propose that a team's weekly starting roster should include AT LEAST ONE OFFENSIVE PLAYER FROM THE HOMER TEAM!

This could be any position from TMQB, RB, WR or TE.

What is the point of having a homer team and only playing the D and K?

This would change draft strategy, spicing that up a tad, and make the weekly matchup resemble more like a homer matchup. GM's would have to target some reasonable back-up or player from another position as a fill in if something happens to the protected player.

This league has been particularly fun for me because it makes a connection between real football and FF like no other format I have played in. When I am watching the Chargers, there is always something of interest going on w/ relation to the FF matchup. Well, untill recently.

My last two games have had no offensive players from the homer team I have played and it takes something away from the match-up. I know we have to pick an offensivive player from our homer team, doesn't it make sense that we have to play an offensive player from that team to actually make it appear to be a homer team? After all, I couldn't trade my kicker or D to another team.

This is a pretty low maintance style league, but this would add just enough of a twist to drafting strategy and team management to step the challenge up a notch. It may even create some trade opportunities.

With Jackson out and not getting his backup, and having Bruce & Looker, it has been a tad bit difficult for me to field an offensive Homer. Of course, since my team would lose to a good Pop warner fantasy squad this year, it is making little difference WHO I field.

ETA: IF, IF that's the case then Homers should be able to keep at least 2 players from their home team.

I pretty much drafted a whole homer team. I start all homers except Houshmanzadah....
