You almost lost this week after starting Andre Johnson (and Travis Henry) while some healthy points were on your bench. Had that DEN/GB not gone to overtime, you'd have lost by 1.4, and literally handed a win and possible bye to a 6-1 team....

Yes, not cool.
I'm seeing more and more owners in BOTH leagues not setting line ups this season then ever. This is crazy.

Ok guys. Before you go runnin' off at the mouth and criticizing people on the message boards, maybe you should check out your facts and send a PM for a little information.
Fact #1 - 3 of my 5 WRs were on bye this week, leaving me 2 starters (Furrey and Johnson). While I tried to submit a lineup of 1 WR (Furrey), according to the site, you have to start a minimum of 2. Since 3 of my 5 were on byes, and Johnson is hurt, that is not possible. I also looked at available Free Agent WRs and I would not drop any of my roster for what was available just to 'fill my lineup for a week'. IN MY OPINION, my players value long term was not worth the 1 week substitute. LEAVING ME NO OPTION BUT TO START A PLAYER ON BYE (JOHNSON).
Fact #2 - My wife is currently 8 1/2 months pregnant and we were at the hospital most of the early evening on Monday. Considering the situation, my mind was on more important things than fantasy football. While I am sure there are some that would forsake the possible birth of their child to submit a up-to-the-minute fantasy lineup, I can proudly say that I am not one of those people. The last information that I had seen had Henry as starting (and it has been verified by all the threads on the main Huddle forum that Henry was a game-time decision), therefore he was in my lineup. While watching the pregame from a hospital television, I heard that Henry was scratched. When I tried to get to the site via my blackberry, not only could I not get through, I was also told by a doctor that my cellphone couldn't be used in the building. Something about cell signals affecting their equipment.
Fact #3 - I am not sure where you see the healthy points on my bench. Are you talking about the 4.3 points from Dwayne Wright, the 0.1 points from Duckett, the 2.1 points from Chris Baker, or the 0.0 points from Bell? I started 1 QB, 3RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 DEF. My best QB, my 3 best options at RB (prior to Henry being a game-time scratch), my ONLY 2 options at WR, my best option at TE, my only option at K and my only option at DEF. According to the site rules, I can't start 2 QBs, 2 DEF, or 2 Ks. I started the max # of RBs, the min # of WRs and the min # of TEs. If you can show me a better lineup to start out of what I have on my roster then please feel free to pick my lineup for the rest of the year as you seem to think you have abilities to predict the perfect scoring lineup every week prior to gametimes. I'm completely amazed that either of you have any losses this year given your all-knowing powers.
Fact #4 - As anyone who knows me will attest, I am a diehard fantasy owner and would never 'throw a game' or intentionally not try to 'play my best'. I was in the playoffs last year as I expect to get there this year and every year. I am also in 8 other leagues and have been for almost 11 years now, and I have never had anyone accuse me of not putting my best team forward every week. I have explained in detail the reasons for my lineup and, if given the chance to do it again under the same circumstances, I would still submit the same lineup. Having Favre and Henry going for you on a Monday night game, being down by 16 points? I absolutely would take that chance 10 out of 10 times.
Apologies to everyone else about the rant, however, I do not like being called out on a messageboard.

-there would be the sound of crickets if they were playing a team without a full lineup or an owner using bye week players--just depends how it helps or hurts their respective teams

Thanks, BW. It's been extremely hectic with the pregnancy AND a just-turned-3 year old. Wife is throwing to-do lists at me every day and my little girl is looking for her 'daddy time' too. But I wouldn't change any of it. Thanks again.
