We have 14 weeks in this league so next week is our end of regular season. Playoffs are weeks 15 and 16. Only four teams qualify in Huddlers Refuge, making it the toughest league to win, IMO.

I pull out the W with the second lowest score of the week... aint that a beotch . Lots of teams at 8-5 next week, and that tie just may pay off.

There are three teams at 8-5 and Brewdude (who has the tie) is playing one of them in the final week. Brewdude, Az and I are fighting for 2 playoff spots and we all control our own destiny. Whoever wins is in (I'm playing tono, who has clinched a playoff spot).

It's also posible that Ursa could jump Thews in the Dent division lead.

Incredibly balanced league.

I have the highest point total and I have to beat Az this weekend to even make it in the playoffs. Wow...

First time since joining the league that I've not won the division.

Just realized I'm in this exact situation in another league. I have a 12% point lead on the next closest team, but have somehow lost four games (two of them by less than 1 point). I have to win this weekend or I'm not even in the playoffs.

Romo, LT, Peterson (Min), S. Smith, Edwards, and I may be watching the playoffs.

I like my situation, but Romo and Taylor scare me. Romo's stinkin' so far today (which is killing me in my other playoff game). My fear is that Peterson will sit a lot tomorrow night while Chester runs all over the Bears D. Since I have Peterson on my other team, whomever gets the most carries tomorrow night will be a huge factor for me.

Really tight game between you and Az though...that's a complete up for grabs game.


I was afraid that LT wouldn't do much more for me today with SD killing Detriot. As I was typing, he rips a 49 yarder to go over 100 for the day. And reports that Turner has an injured shoulder and is questionable to return help me there (and in my other league).

thanks. wasn't really a pretty week for either of us. it's funny i'm in other leagues (a couple of which you're in) where i like my teams a lot more than this one, but this is the one i make it through to the finals. this year whatever success i've had has been more about NOT having my team hitched to total duds (steve smith, shaun alexander, etc) than it has been actually riding the hot hands like brady, romo, moss, owens (none of whom i have in any leagues).

+1. I thought my Late Bloomers team was pretty much unbeatable but it laid an egg in the first playoff round. My infinitely worse 6-7 Local team just made the SB, barring a Berrian miracle tonight. I'm also amazed I managed a winning record here.

well, his crappy performance helped me in my local, so i can't complain too much.

I was able to make up for his short comings in my other league -- thanks to that 1 yard line tackle of Ferguson allowing Peterson to get the TD. Whew!

ETA - I just realized Az and I are playing each other for the Loser Bowl in our other league. I'm in a position to not even let Az call himself the Ultimate Loser...wow, gonna be a rough week for you, man!

I went to an event at the Broadmoor with the family. When I left, Mason had next to nothing. On the way home, I heard S Moss had a decent game and felt very encouraged...then I see Mason had a late 79 yd TD reception.



This is going to be very close. I'm not liking my chances, especially since the last time I played Az, Cutler went off against Tenn.
