QUOTE(montster @ 12/16/07 7:29pm)

i'm pretty sure this will be moot because i got killed today (after a 14-1 season

), but this was from your original post in this thread:
basically, regarding the bolded, i was unclear whether that meant the early or late sunday games. the "provided that the player has not yet played" part makes me think you mean either game, but the second sentence implies otherwise. so yeah, i don't really know what the rule is.

of course, this will only come into play if chester taylor throws four touchdowns to himself.
It should have been clearer, but its till the kickoff of Sunday games, as made clear in the second sentence and I think in the rule itself ... we have never allowed waiver pickups past 12:00 noon central ...
I am glad it will in all probability be moot because I am denying the request ...
"From that point on until kickoff of the first game, additional "non-priority" waiver wire acquisitions may be made on a first come, first serve basis ... any attempts to make waiver wire transactions after the first kickoff will be void and considered only at the next Tues "priority" deadline ..."
Changed only by:
"9.2.3 For weeks that have Thursday games those players on those teams are off limits once the game begins until the wire opens again the following Tuesday."
Which is why I made the clarification that even if you have a Thus game, waivers is open until first kickoff on Sunday (to pick up players who have not played that week) ...
