Sorry folks......originally waivers were to have ended Week 14. But Skippy and I discussed it before playoffs started and thought playoff teams should be able to use waivers on weeks 14 and 15, as long as the non-participants had their rosters frozen.

......So.....long story short....the schedule at MFL never got changed. My bad!

Waiver Request is NOW OPEN. They will process at 3:00PM on Thursday afternoon. FCFS will run Thursday from 3:00PM until gametime Thursday night. THIS is the LAST waiver wire opportunity for the year. So make it work in case you get to the SB.

ONLY the 4 remaining playoff teams have waiver rights on MFL. Also....the matches are correct now. #1 vs. #4......and #2 vs. #3.

Wow. I just got screwed beyond belief. I go to bed last night with nothing posted about this, and get home from work tonight to find out my competition was just able to completely bulster his team and I didn't have the same opportunity. In no way should this have been allowed on such a short time span unless every affected team had the same opportunity. If this is the way this league is going to opperate, then consider this my last year.

eta: Ok, many lookers at this thread and no comments. Can't believe this was really let go without as much as one word spoken by a commish on why the moves should stand. I see some pretty high profile Huddlers in this league, and this is just let go?

Well, this is the very first that I have seen this thread. I can't say that I blame you for feeling this way, however, I sent you a pm a few minutes after you posted in the other thread about the waiver and how you would have liked to know. I am not looking at your matchup or anything and I am not sure who you got screwed out of but if you honestly did not know then I think we need to fix the problem. However, now that it is 4:30am ET in the morning I am not sure what we can do to fix your problem.

What if JoJo does not log on and is not given a chance to change his lineup after we "take" the players away from him?

Pills, please tell me what you honest opinion on what we should do at this point is?

I just checked my email to make sure that I did not overlook anything from you. I can't help but wonder, if you felt so screwed, why you didn't send something out in the email?

I feel like chit over this but I don't think that there is an easy answer. Bunz did send out an email that I am assuming that you recieved? I sent you a pm minutes after you made a post in the other thread. There is no easy fix here.

Well.....I would like to say a few things. Pills......I'm sorry you feel screwed. I can understand it to a degree. BUT....given the fact that neither Skippy or I were IN the playoffs....a PM or an email would have helped your cause on Weds when there was a question in your mind. You could have PM'd or emailed or even called Skippy or me with your intentions for picking up certain players IF the WW was going to be open. We would have seen to that for you with NO problems!

When I set the time for Waiver Requests.....I deliberately made it as long as possible before they processed and still have ample time before the Thursday game for FCFS. 14 hours for WReq.....then another 5+ for FCFS before the Thursday game started. And with an email and a post.....I was pretty sure I'd be able to catch/accommodate both East and West coasters. Skippy called me to talk about waivers not being open @ about 10:30pm.....and I was on the phone with RR at the time as well until about 1:00 AM ET. That's why the email went out at 1:00am ET.

Aside from all that....I made it pretty clear in the playoff post that playoff teams would have waiver rights and all other teams would be frozen. So.....when MFL wouldn't take your waiver info, again...a PM or post to me or Skippy.....even a phone call....because it was clear something was wrong at that point......right? Look......I'm not absolving myself of the mistake made in MFL in scheduling. Not at all. But this is a money league and a little due diligence on the owners' parts should be a given.

At this point.....I'd just play out the match if I were you. After your email, I was going to offer you your fee back in exchange for a forfeit and we'd just move JoJo on to the finals. But you have just as much chance at winning this match, which guarantees you at least 2nd place money. So I let it be.

Again....I apologize for the mixup this week. But I think I handled it as fairly as possible given our time constraint with a Thursday game. Yes....this is a money league.....but it's also a fun league with a lot of competitive, but layed back people. I'm truly sorry you seem to feel your experience in here was tainted somehow because we've enjoyed having you here, Pills. Good Luck in your match.

And I received your email reply at 11:50pm Thursday night after the that game was over. Just for the record.

1) I think all was done above board and fair
2) Pills....I think you are over reacting
3) If you can't win w/ Burress and Portis I will be surprised.
4) I don't think your attack is justified as you had no use for the QB JJ acquired, Edwards, nor Gafney.
5) Please tell me who you would have WW'd that would have improved your outcome?

I said this to SB in private. I do feel like chit over this and really these sorts of problems just can not happen but having said that, they do. I am in WCOFF and even though you pony up close to 1700.00 to play, they are still not mistake free.

That does not make this happening okay, but just shows that mistakes do happen.

And I still wonder what happened to the PM that I sent you?

Obviously with the current week's games just about over, I'm sure this topic will die, and that's fine. I just want to underscore that any given regular season week this wouldn't have been such a huge deal to me, but with the winner of this week's game going to the superbowl, it was exponentially bigger. Sorry to everyone who I annoyed, but I hope you can understand where I'm coming from.

Understand. I am passionate about my leagues, but I look at the WW after week #13-14 and see crap, that is no oneI would start over my existing team, compared to what I had. I didn't analyze your team, so I'm not sure what your motivations were. I meant NOT to insult you, but I admit I was protecting the league, as I truly like it. Sorry if I offended.
