JK, but i did make the superbowl in 3 other leagues this season where i picked #1 overall as well. Made a HUGE difference this year. Most of us with the #1 got LT, Brady and a great #1 WR or solid #2 back.

Don't gimme that. LT2 is great and all, but my season had a lot to do with guys like Welker, Lewis, Berrian, Galloway, and (today) Chicago's Adrian Peterson. Anyone could have drafted any of those guys; having the #1 pick didn't matter beyond my first three picks. (But having Manning sure was nice today). I just got lucky that those three picks didn't get hurt, and did well.

#1 pick or not, i give it up to you yo. you led the league all year and showed up strong in the playoffs. great season!

now, having said that ...

So..............picking #1 doesn't mean much?

I played in 14 leagues this season and made the superbowl in 4 of them, 3 of which i picked 1st in.

Picking first gave you LT and a shot at better quality players all around including your 2.12 pick of Lewis. Picking 5th wouldn't have yeilded the same results.

I'm about sick of the pot luck of drafting spots and hope to get involved in an auction league where every member has an equal chance to seek the players the covet.

Now that Monday night's game is in the books I'm willing accept victory. I figured it'd be you and I in the big game, and your squad came to play. Thankfully, my core players played enough in Week 16 to get the job done. Great game and great season, Tonorator. I'm already looking forward to next year.
