I'm back from...Alabama where my mom has relocated with her husband. It's nice, but it's The Sticks.
Anyways, here's my totals for the money spread on the year:
The Norris Champion, Hammer of the Gods, with its esteemed General Manager Cap'n Grunge receives the healthy payment and tops the money list with US$200.00 for his Super Cutting edge General Management.
Puddy brought the Detroit Sting back to the champeenship game, and claims US$80.00 for his second place finish, and another Fitty for the Clark Distinction of 2007. Total: $130.00
Hurricane Lombardi blew into the playoffs on a massive winning streak after opening the year 0-4. Better than the Saints, who will not recover from theirs. He takes home his Fitty for the 3rd place finish, then doubles it up with his capture of the 2007 Lombardi Distinction. Total: $100.00
If the Color Purple didn't have you scared stiff, trying to figure out how that would be stopped when it was clicking well then I'm pretty impressed. That blistering opening earned him the 2007 Grant Distinction. Total: $50.00
Ditka's Demons roared past his fellow Bears homers to take home the Halas Distinction of 2007. Total: $50.00
Congrats to all, and I'd just like to make sure that everyone agrees with these amounts before I send them off.
I will note here, before someone else does, that in the first two years of this league Bears homers are 0-6 in the playoff spot race. I'd like to mention that was not what I had in mind when I founded this league.
