I think the simple fact is that it hard to get a high money league like this. It's either $100 league or something like WCOFF where they skim a bit off the top and charge $1200+. This is a nice in-between and is one of my favorite leagues because of the high cash element.

given PD's disappearance, do we need to find a new owner?

Well, in all fairness to PD officially dropped out of other leagues. He hasn't done so in Empire, to my knowledge. But I don't know how much we wanted to read into that.

I asked the same question of our commish and he said he'd get in touch with PD, one way or the other. I say we give PD a reasonable amount of time to fish or cut bait with the league; though I'd certainly love to see him stick around. However, its only fair that if the odds of his return are not favorable the league be given us a reasonable amount of time to find some else who is willing to lose money to me.
