Ok, I'mm looking for some ideas for division names. In MSHB the divisions are named after some of the local eating establishments that the MSHB group ate at while here working on my house. But since that doesn't really apply to the new group I was thinking we could do something a bit different. The best I could come up with so far is naming them after infamous Katrina-related organizations. The two examples I have are FEMA Follies & Corps Meltdown. Let me know what y'all think and whatever ideas you have. As soon as we get that decided I can send TOS to work customizing the look of your MFL page.

How about:

Or how about:

Insurance. Why do we have it again?

The Rode Home

For those of you not familiar, Louisiana's grant program is called The Road Home program and it has been horribly mishandled. There are still thousands of people who have not gotten their grant money to start rebuilding yet.

Hey rajn,

What if we do three divisions that highlight something positive about the Gulf Coast? Your three divisions are reminiscent of some good times in light of the bad.

I think I would rather see that theme carry over here instead of something that focuses on the negative. So maybe some tribute to Gulf Coast traditions, or common themes of the people who shined throughout the hard times.

Great idea CD... I'll stew on it tonight & see what my brain can boil down.

Definately agree with this sentiment.

Trying to think of one for the Red Cross and I have a couple of other things in mind like Mardi Gras, crawfish boils, seafood gumbo and locations such as The Pass, The Pointe, 9th Ward etc. But I'm having a little trouble turning those into something that would work for division names. I like using Honore Gaurd, but it really doesn't go with the other names unless I get another name.

Once we get the division names figured out I'll set up a dice roll to determine division alignment.

I thought of many different ideas for division names, but never could come up with 4 along the same theme. But Mardi Gras is our most famous & celebrated tradition across the entire Gulf Coast. What better "tradition" than the one we're most famous for and it made it a whole lot easier to come up with division names.
