Anyone have any issues with looking for a replacement for PD ?

i would say we get on with it ...

To be honest, I do not think we are going to have a tough time finding a replacement owner. This is a very rare type league with 12 solid guys. We gotta give him the benefit of the doubt here. We are not in a hurry here to draft, we wont draft until August.

I already have 2 PMS from huddlers asking to be considered for the spot. It's May everyone, I think we are ok for now.

Just out of curiosity, which two Huddlers gave you PMS?

Sir Loins of Beef asked me if he could join. I had another Huddler ask but I accidently deleted it. Whoopsie!!


Maybe we should start a waiting list?

Sheesh. Its like someone wished all our candidates to "have a nice period," or something.

My brother, Cincy Slammers, has been pecking at my feet to join up in this league.

That would bring in 3 of us brothers

We would all agree to a no trade clause or have any trades voted on by the league before going through if he is permitted access.


Let me know, but some of you already play in a few leagues with Slammers, Popeye and myself and know we are more competitive amongst ourselves then anyone around.

I trust you TOS, but I'd like to get some out-of-the-family blood for that open spot. I hope no offense is taken and if everyone else has no problem with it, I will certainly not stand in the way.

My only concern is that the Shack Family has sort of proven itself to be rather weak competition over the last two years. We should be raising our standards; not lowering them.

Honestly, it wouldn't bother me. Feel free to throw his hat in the ring and we'll vote. If he's the best candidate for our league, then I don't mind his familial relationship to anyone else.

Has anyone PM'd any other Huddler? I think we should be assuming a new member needs to be found. No reason to wait on it at this point as it's almost July and it'll be drafting season before you know it.

I haven't , dunno if BM has. My lil bro said he'd play , but that's up to you guys. I guess we can use him for a last fill in or something ?

BM seemed like he wanted to wait on PD ..... ?? I don't see PD coming back to the Huddle anytime soon , if ever.

Sounds like PD has some bigger issues on his plate and I tend to agree with TOS. Unless BM knows more than us we should put the word out and get our 12th owner.

Someone want to post on the main boards looking for the new owner? I'd be happy to do it, but don't want to do it without league approval (BM and/or TOS plus others) so maybe TOS or BM should do it.
