The "rookie list" as I see it has less than 30 players left. We ran into this last year: just becase he isn't on hte MFL rolls, so to speak, doesn't mean he can't be drafted. He needed to be a 2008 draft pick, or a signed undrafted FA post draft.

I was talkin bout Owen. I started looking him up and I think I didn't see him earlier because I have him listed as a FB not on my RB list.

6'2" 250ish, 4.8 (which is a bit below my "fast enough" minimum of 4.6) - ran for 1000 yds as a freshman at Wisconsin-River Falls (D-3), transferred to WVU and tallied 1000+ yds on 160 carries as a blocking back.

Basically he's just a player - tough guy, great character, etc etc; and with Leonard Weaver clearing the way, Alexander gone, and Morris underwhelming, he's got a puncher's chance of maybe being an Edgar Bennett type guy for Seattle until they find someone better.

Forgetting fantasy impact, I can see him sticking in the league as an emergency RB/FB and special teams stud.

Egret had the first of these extras. II put in a dummy player and in the comments put in the real draft pick.
