Now that it's June, we should start discussing a draft date. We can again attempt to come up with a day for a live draft, or we can go with the slow draft like we've done the last couple of years. I'm hoping we can do a live one.

Let's start with everyone listing when you're available (or not) in mid- to late-August.

It's the heart of the summer concert season and a few relics are hittin town late. I'm not one to put ff behind anything else but until we agree on a date I'm gonna keep makin plans as I indoctrinate Gator into the world of the live show. GB the first time that wall of sound hits you in the chest.

I sent Pratts and e-mail and asked him to check in.

I posted on the BSB board at GLB that we're in need of an owner. Hopefully we'll get a response soon. At the very least, I think Def will help out at the draft and select for vacant team.

Def? LOL , I'd hate to get stuck with a team he drafted!

I'm good to draft tonight

Here's the story for now. I've had no luck finding someone to draft for DC's team. Def has a work function until 8:30 pm. I sent an e-mail out to the members of one of my other leagues, and got no takers. I posted on the BSB forum at GLB and still got no takers. So here's what we're going to do. I've set the draft so that when it's DC's turn, the computer will automatically pick based on MFL's Average Draft Position list. If Pratts doesn't show up to draft, I'll set it to pick for his team, too. I'm confident we'll find an owner for DC's team before Week 1, and that Pratts will at least show up to run his team this season.

You know, it just wouldn't be OFTT without some bumps in the road before the beginning of the season.
