Well after last year I was thinking that the best type of draft for our league is a slow draft that'll have a 12 hour time limit, start about 10 days-2 weeks+ prior to the draft and begin at about 6 AM. So that would put us somewhere between Mon. Aug. 18th- Mon. Aug. 25th. at 6 AM.

Now if some want to attempt to back up and attempt talking about having a live draft, we can try but I doubt it'll happen.

Discuss.

I'm all for a slow draft.

I thought a slow draft starting maybe Thurs. Aug. 21st at 6 AM which is exactly 2 weeks to the start of the first Thurs. night game on Sept. 4th.

I am flexible. The only issue that I have is a trip to the beach in the beginning of August. Otherwise, I am good to go.

So then my date mentioned above will work fine for you.

It's tough for me to pick during the day since my work blocks MFL. Made it work last year, so I'm okay with a slow draft. Just for the record though, I would prefer a live draft.

As would I and being a teacher, I out of all the league owners would have no problem doing a live draft. However, I just don't think that it's a feasible option as with 12 different owners with 12 different schedules/summer plans it would be pretty tough to pull it off. If I remember correctly, the big thing that held us up a ton last year was Broncos school schedule and that won't be a concern this year.

I would definitely be up for a LIVE draft. It would be great to have some banter during the draft and get your team build in one night. MFL has a LIVE draft option that you can see the picks as they happen it would be pretty easy to manage.

Shall we at least try to find a date+time that will work for everyone?

There's no question that I'm willing to give it a shot to have a LIVE draft. I'm thinking that we'll have to shoot for a weekend. I feel these are the best options if we do in fact try for a LIVE draft on a weekend- Aug. 23, 24, 30 or 31. As always, I'm open to suggestions.

Thoughts...

Live drafts are always a blast, and I agree that it would have to be on a weekend.

If not, a slow draft starting any time works for me.

Slooooow works for me but i'll adjust to whatever is decided. Live drafts are best but with us spread all over it's a bit tough. smile.gif
