Rule was:

3.5 For approximately the first 3 hours, the time limit will be 5 minutes. Afterward, the time limit for drafting players is 8 hours, with the clock stopped from 1:00 AM to 7:00 AM EDT. If you exceed that limit, it becomes the next player’s turn, and his time limit will start immediately. You may still select your draft pick anytime after, but anyone whose turn it is may jump in ahead of you.

Some complaints that this was taking too much time.

Proposal if to change the 5 minute limit in the fast portion to 2 minutes as MFL can handle this, then perhaps increase this part to 5 rounds?

Please discuss this or other drafting changes.

This is my only LIVE draft and i love it....normally i would speed up any draft but with my new job i don't have near the time to stay up on players so 2 minutes may be pushing it this year....on the other hand i usually shoot from the hip anyway so I'll go with whatever...... thmbup.gif

how about 3.5 min?

I'm for anything that increases the liklihood that we get it gone in 1 night. To me, the live draft (which I support) is pointless if you can't make it through the final round. Why go to the trouble of getting us all together if we are still going to spend the next 2 weeks drafting?

3 minutes is PLENTY.

I agree that 5 is too much, but 2 is too fast, I think 3 is good.

I'd prefer to keep it at 5 minutes because of potential internet hiccups with the assumption that owners should shoot for 3 minutes to help speed it along.

2 minutes is too quick IMO.

5 min is too long IMO. With the quality of FF owners in this league, 3 min should be plenty to burn off the first 5 rounds.
