There was a discussion to reduce the league size from 14 to 12 teams. This item will beed to be resolved more quickly as it affects other league rules and potential new members. There are currently 2 known non-returnees and one member.

Preiminarily, if it is reduced to 12:
2 of the abandoned teams would be contracted and all players on those teams would eligible for the regular draft. I would keep 6 playoff teams, but since the winnings pool would be reduced by $100, I would eliminate the $50 winnings from the losers in the wildcard round.

I am in favor of standard 12 and throwing the remains in the pool. This would at least give my some hope of grabbing a starter. :P

I prefer 12 team leagues so I'd be cool with this.

i also like 12 team leagues, but (regardless of last year's finish) i advocate for a different way to address the players going back into the pool.

Seeing nothing else for a week, I will bring the league size question for a vote.

If it passes, then other related issues such as dispersal of contracted teams and payment schedules/playoffs will be discussed/voted on.
