A few things as we start gearing up for this years voyage.

If you have any rule change suggestions, here is the place to make them. If it seems like a good idea, I will publish them in a poll and we will see how the entire crew feels about them.

alchico is passing around the collection cup for league fees. See his topic which has been pinned. Payment is due to the league by August 15. If payment has not been received by that date, we will be looking for a replacement crewmember. HomARRRRRR choices are also due by the 15th. I will have HomARRRRRRR values published by August 8th.The draft will preliminarily be scheduled for August 18th.

That is all.

2-Drop the 48 hour wait period after a trade.....if there's Collusion it's always funner to Hammer the Farking Cheaters the rest of the season w00t.gif

I know it's early, but the sooner we hammer down a draft date, the better off for me. We're really busy (recession, what recession?) and I'm working 70+ a week. I'll put the week of 8/18 in the calendar for now.

The week of 8/18 is written in a heavy pencil right now. It is possible that the draft may be delayed a day or so if there are any matters that need to be straightend out.

Same as Gonkis, working 70+ hours right now, and traveling like a wench in heat from port to port. I'll have internet access anywhere with my Sprint Broadband card (so sweet), so I can get on, but it will be in-between meetings......

I did fail to take into account that once I increased the value of QB's and WR's relative to RB's, I would also need to increase the value of our salary cap. That will be raised to $52 to compensate.

Can you mention the reasoning behind raising the salary cap by $12 as opposed to say, $10?

The value of QB's and WR's rose on average 22.5% from last year. Last years salary cap of $40 multiplied by 22.5% would warrant an increase of... $9 and increase it to $49. doh.gif

I have no idea how I f'ed up that one. Salary cap is actually $49. Sorry everybody.

Good work. Good man.

Just figured out my mistake. I had increased QB values 30% from last year. The 30% is what I multipled last years salary cap by and that's how I arrived at the $52 figure. I didn't take the WR's into account like I had meant. bag.gif
