This is the official league dues thread. I am setting a deadline of 8/10 for payment so we can find any new owners necessary and conduct either a live or slow draft prior to the start of the season. Any owners not paid up by 8/10 are subject to replacement.

Quick question... It looks like a third of our league hasn't paid dues and we're two days away from the deadline and the start of the draft... If the dues are not in, are we postponing the start of said draft?

Unless the owner has a reason for not paying on time that the league is willing to accept, we will delay the draft and replace those owners.

This is a good group, but I've seen good people burn leagues on dues before, which often leads to the league folding up.

Being the last on the list to have "not paid", I am letting you know my dues will not, and are unable to be sent by Sunday. My wife and I just became home owners and closed on a condo Friday afternoon. With a downpayment and closing costs all within 3 months, it is physically impossible for me to pay it right now. I start back up with school in September, so I would be able to pay with my first paycheck. But to come up with dues money for Bling Bling when we have just spent chunks of change in order to own our new condo, is impossible. I really do hope this is not going to hold the draft up; but I also respect any collective decision that is made.
