I know its a slow draft, but this is a little slow than most would like I think. Really I think Club is the only one who we should be working with and he has even been around, the draft is helping him through this, but not if he never gets to pick. I am not singling anyone out, but I see no reason why we shouldn;t at the very least be completing a round a day at minimum.

Curse at me and call me a whiner, just speaking what I think some of us are feeling.

Carry on.

I will second the motion....just utilize pre-picks and put in 5 choices so you get a guy you want. 12 hour timer should suffice.

As assistant to the commish, my take is Rule 6.2 stipulates a 24 hour timer.

My other thought is it would take a 75% vote to change that under Rule 1.61. IMHO if we could get 75% of us rounded up to vote on the measure, I don't think anyone would be asking for a timer...

I would not be opposed to the pace being picked up. Baby had her best day since the surgery today but tomorrow could be a long day because they want to start getting her off some of her medicines and see how she responds which means she may not respond well. She only had 3 SVTs today as opposed to the 8 she had yesterday. What this means is a day after saying I wouldn't mind picking up the pace (tomorrow), I might not be able to check in as much. slap2.gif

If 75% of the owners check in here in favor of turning the timers on, someone should PM Big John or rajn so a poll can be posted. Of course today being Thursday, we put it up for vote tomorrow we'd probably have to leave it open for a day or two to get enough votes so I'm not sure if it takes 4 days to clear the timer measure by vote, there might be no need for one on Tuesday. laughing.gif

I kown the further along we get the easier it will be to preselect as well which should pick the pace up naturally.

I think we are still early enough to not force the timer, but I think people just need to be more considerate about checking the draft a couple of times a day.

And at the worst, leave a draft availability message to let us know your timetable. We just need a little common courtesy here.

My apologies as well that I am not very available right now. I can get online usually long enough to see what's going on during the day & usually by the time I get into the hotel room I have time to shower, get my clothes ready for the morning & pass out on the bed. whacko2.gif I will be back home on Monday & hopefully I can keep you guys on track a little better then.

As for the timer I still don't think that is completely necessary just yet, but I won't let it drag on if it continues to be an issue.

I know its been posted here somewhere, but for those that it is blocked at work, try using this link:

That works for me...

Thanks rajn!! thmbup.gif
