The question was brought up about accidentally picking the wrong player. In MFL there are a lot of players names who are very similar & even some who are the same, so it does happen from time-to-time especially in a large draft such as this one. So the question was brought up & I figured I should issue an official stance so that there are no questions or issues in the future.
In the case where an obvious mistake is made then I will willingly switch the player out, but I will not hold the draft up waiting for the replacement player. I also can't guarantee I or the co-commish could be readily available to make the switch. Only available players will be allowed to use as a replacement. Meaning if 15 other players roll through in the draft before settling back at your next draft position then you will not be able to use those players as a replacement. That is the unfortunate penalty for selecting the wrong player. If the replacement player is deemed questionable, by the processing commish the draft would be put on hold for a quick (no more than 24 hour) yay or nay vote. If the player is obviously one that could be selected close to that position then the processing commish reserves the right to decline the request upon conference with the co-commish.
Also, any commish performing this duty must post who & why they are making the switch so that everyone is aware.
