Let's figure out if a live draft is possible. Please list all dates from 8/16 on that you are NOT available to participate in a live draft.

Assume that any live draft would need to start around 7pm or so EST since we have at least one west coast owner.

I know several of us have a live draft on 8/17 already.

Here comes the new guy to throw a wrench in everyones plans... August 30th-31st are going to be pretty hectic for me. I have Jiu Jitsu Tourney's going on that weekend from around 1pm to 6-7pm central time...

I have a live draft on August 17 and 18. The 20th might be sketchy but otherwise I should be good.

rather than list days i can not draft......

i can only draft on Sundays, Mondays and Wednsdays after 4 pm pacific.....naturally, i could make arrangements if i am in the minority....

I am pretty much good on Sundays and Mondays except 8/24, 8/25, 8/31 and 9/1. Which is all the Sundays and Mondays except the first one, sorry. unless the draft could be held early in the morning like 8am PST then I am good virtually any day of the week.

Wednesdays have to be later PST (like 730 PST), but Sundays and Mondays can work for me assuming Sunday around 2PM-3PM Pacific (or late night) and Monday is no earlier then 530 PST. I have some conflicting drafts-- I know that Sunday August 17th will not work and I believe I have a draft being scheduled for August 11th, but that is not finalized yet.

Currently unavailable on 8/16 and labor day weekend. This will change as more drafts get scheduled.

We have yet to hear from a few folk yet, but the idea of a live draft is seeming pretty unlikely. I haven't heard from Highrailers yet, but I know he does not work a regular M-F 9-5 job.

I propose we start a slow draft on Monday, August 11th since I suspect this will take a few weeks. I know I have some business travel and a vacation during that timeframe, although I always have email & internet access.

We can start rolling dem bones now, with one caveat. If we need to replace an owner for non-payment by 8/10, that team's dice roll would be voided, and the new owner would get to re-roll. Should that happen, the start of the draft may get pushed back in order to get a new owner in place.

I am good with all of this, especially because I expect everyone will pay up in a timely manner.

Agreed, what kind of timer? 12 hour...?

That's what I'm thinking, with the timer possibly turned off on weekends. We're starting early enough that finishing should not be a problem.

Apoc, just a suggestion....

If we can get everyone paid, you could open up the draft as soon as draft slots are chosen. leave the timer off and have the official start be Monday. If people have a chance to draft, they can. No pressure. No rush.

I didn't bring it up because it wasn't relevant at the time, but I'm heading out of state Thursday with some guys I trained with for their fights. I'll be back early this Saturday, so if you guys want to go ahead and get a head start going, I'll need someone to possibly send me a text update or call me and I can make my pick on the road...

Scratch that. I'm not longer going on that trip. I've got a job interview which could almost triple what I make now on Thursday. I'm good to go whenever.
