So we're looking at 8 or 10. This is really geared to get us acquainted with the auction format. If you are not going to make it down to Austin for the auction, please post your phone # (or PM it to me).

The draft will be SATURDAY, AUGUST 9th at 1PM (time to be verified).

ABWF has graciously offered his pad to hold the auction (wife's out of town... woohoo!) and we'll BBQ and part-take in beers, etc.

We'll get a rough rules thread started ASAP.

Awesome list of owners. Unfortunately, I will have to participate by phone this year but I will be participating in person starting next year. Based on the list of huddlers participating, I'm really looking forward to this league. I'm down to all huddle leagues but really miss the live draft/auction so I'm already exited for 2009.

I'll be the defending champion by then.

If he's able to come - which would be great! - then he'll be able to run our board and moderate the auction. If he's not able to make it, I might be able to convince one of my friends (the roommate of the guy I got to sign on with us here) to help us out if he's available.

BJ is definitely coming as he's already got a flight...and I'm thinking he wants to play...so we'll need an auctioneer.

Was thinking about going over to Bone Daddies and see if we can hire a couple of the waitresses to do the auction/serve drinks, etc...
