** Dates- These are the dates that we'll most likely have to work with, (all in Aug) and on Sat. night or Sun.- 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 or 31. If we had to we could do the 9th or 10th but I'd rather wait til later.

**Location and time for the Live Draft- My first thought is possibly Hoboken, NJ as it would sort of be a happy medium for PA and NY huddlers. If need be we could move it. 5 PM is also looking like the best time.

Just to be a bit more specific in terms of rules, scoring, etc. Again this is a redraft league.

**Standard scoring with PPR- .1pt- 1 yard rush/rec, .05 pts - 20 yards pass, 6 pts- rush/rec tds, 4 pts- pass tds, 1PPR, kicking pts standard as are 2 pt. conversions. Team defense would be pretty standard as well- something like 2pts-int, 1pt-sacks/fumble rec, 6pts-tds. Not sure if I'd do a point system for how few points defenses give up. If we wanted to add Special Teams that would be fine as well and we can just make it 6 pts for every returned td.

**Rosters- 16-18 rounds (we'll decide) starting 1QB, 2RBs, 2WRs, 1FLEX (RB, WR), 1TE, 1K and 1 D. We could also make TE be part of the flex if the majority wants.

**A blind bidding system will be used as I believe it's the fairest system. All owners would start with a certain amount (ex. $100) that would be used on only players that are bid on during the BB period. Once that money is gone, owners can only pick up players during FCFS. Blind bids would start on Sunday at 1PM and the bidding period would end on Wed. night at 9PM and players would be assigned to the highest bidders. FCFS would then begin at 9PM on Wed and last until Sunday at 1PM.

**All transactions will be free unless a majority of owners felt differently. All trades would be processed unless collusion could be proven.

** Schedule- 14 Regular season weeks. Playoffs begin in Week 15- Seeds 1 and 4 play and 2 plays 3. Week 16 is the Championship game (for the winners) and game for third place (for the losers). Three places will be paid out.

** Entry Fee- $50.

**Hosting Website- Fanball.

Everything I mentioned here and more is open for discussion and league vote if the majority feels strongly enough that change or modification is needed.

Thoughts...

My thoughts:

Start the draft earlier? Is that possible? Don't get me wrong, I wake up crazy late. But are we going to be at the draft until the middle of the night if we start 5-5:30?

Change the starting lineup? IBL is 1 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB, WR, TE) which I find quite interesting. Anyone else into something like that? I just don't like 3RB, 2WR as an option.

Entry fee should get settled soon. I'm cool with anywhere from 25 - 50.

Where's the draft going to be? Not necessarily city-wise, but are we shooting for someone's house or a bar or something like that?

Will I ever join a league that Storm isn't in? Two BoTH leagues and IBL. All of my leagues but my local, and that's all family. Next thing I know he's going to marry one of my cousins to get into that too.

Hopefully, that clears some things up. Now that you have me thinking about the draft time, I feel bad for those doing the most traveling, especially on a Sunday Night with us more than likely finishing around 10. I wish there was something we could do but at least 2 if not 3 of the guys involved wouldn't be able to make it any earlier. Hell, as it is we'll be lucky to have 12 owners and if we don't, then Storm and others might not want in. We are at a very critical stage of development for this year at this point. Things will either come together over the next several days or fall apart and push the start of this league off for a year. We have already come further than I thought we would this year and I'm not giving up.

The owners list is now down to 10 and I still need to hear from 3 of them (Rovers, Hugh-Mongus and Gros Membres). GM has told me he should know for sure by early next week. Both Rovers and H-M have been signed on, have been sent PMs and have yet to respond so I'm hoping they aren't backing out. I also haven't heard from Tally once I sent him a PM about the new League Forum and confirming the 17th for sure. He did originally tell me it was good though. Other than that G.K. Trey most likely can't do it but said he'll let me know.

If we lose anymore people things would most likely be shot down for this year. But alas, until then, I'll keep trying.
