This league will not be able to get off the ground this year as finding a common draft date which fits into everyone's schedule has not worked out. We will revisit setup for this league early next year.

Since a live draft didn't work this year, can't we do a slow online draft, and at least get the league up and running?

And we can always do an end-of-yaer gathering to meet each other, and to award me the Super Bowl trophy and winner's check....in Atlantic City

Sorry to intrude as well, but our league is also a league based in NJ. We currently have 1 opening. LAst year was our first year and everyone had a good time. Every one was competitve, but no jerks. Live in-person draft is on August 16th in Fords, NJ. Fees are $50, all fees paid out. Redraft, PPR, 12 teams. Here's our site. I hear you Swammi but the main point of the thread was to have a LIVE draft where we could meet some Huddlers and make it a unique experience. Doing another online draft just sort of wouldn't make it any different from the other BoTH Leagues I and the rest of us are involved in already. I, along with most of the guys, were really hoping to meet up with each other and, have a good time, oh and hold a fantasy draft.



I don't mind a whole lot as you only need one guy. However, it is a bit in poor taste to post this in another league trying to put itself together whether it be for this year or next. The latter is really more likely. That is after all why we have a "Find a League Forum". Now if you wanted to join this league and then post something like that, it wouldn't be as bad.

I understand where you're coming from. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I just thought I would give someone who might be interested a chance to play in a league this year. My apologies. As far joining your league, I started reading the other thread hoping to join it.

Well since your post is here and you have 11 out of 12 guys already locked up. I wish you the best in filling your league. I can always add you to the list of candidates for next year. And no worries, I'm not offended, especially with the way you handled yourself here, just thought it was a little odd.

Or we can just all go to Atlantic City... I'm ready to go at the drop of a hat.
