Proposed draft date is Monday, September 1, which is Labor Day. With this late date, the full draft will need to be done that evening.

Please indicate if this works for you and the earliest time of day you can make the draft. (Nuke indicated that he can get a substitute as he won't be available until later).

while less fun, we could just start up a slow draft.
Hat Trick
I have no plans for that date, but was thinking of a few things that I or the family could do. That said I will do it, just would prefer the later the better or super early in the morning....it is a holiday after all wink.gif

I just found that my "local" wants to hold a live draft at 8pm ET that day, so I am leaning toward the slow draft too.

I'm OK with that, but I may be hard to reach for long periods. I'll have my cell and may need some assistance from time to time.

I can go with the slow draft if needed.

I'm all for this as well. I'm usually off Mon. night but because it's the last hurrah of the summer, I might be stuck at the restaurant later than usual.

I'll help you out Scott whenever I can.

Another consideration for a slow draft is the rules say keepers are due 7 days prior to the start of the draft. With that in mind, if we do the slow draft, when should it start?

sadbanana.gif I'm not good with these types of decisions, I'll defer to the pros

To balance both ways, I will start with Monday Aug 25 as a doable point, but time limits may have to be shortened at the end, and means next Monday is the deadline for payments (4 still need to pay) and to declare keepers. So we need to decide this quickly.

will this do?

Could we declare keepers by say next Monday August 18th at noon and then start the slow draft on Tuesday August 19 at noon? I'm more readily available in the middle of next week than the week after so I wouldn't hold everyone up as much...

I really don't think we need 7 days between keeper declaration and draft day start. 24 hours should be plenty IMO.

As far as our draft's start time, slow / live or combination thereof, I'm flexible & will do whatever works out best for everyone.
